World Height Plugin

Is it possible to create a plugin that would allow the server build hight to be higher than the default and allow players to build in this extended area without the use of any client-side downloads? If so how much would a plugin cost because I kinda really want one.

Go to your "server.properties" file and edit "max-build-height=256".

The last time I checked this doesn't actually edit anything though, players still aren't able to place blocks above the default height. I could try again though.

BloorocksDotD I believe it can only go down. I misread your post, sorry! This would require some NMS I bet or it might not be changeable at all due to the fact that Minecraft worlds are scaled a certain way (the current chunk system probably depends on this limit).

It's not changeable.

Skionz Definitely seen some Forge mods, but you're probably right about Bukkit.

BloorocksDotD Well if Skionz and the rest of Bukkit/Spigot forum says so, I'd say it's not possible.

I have seen it done in Forge mods, but this was probably before Minecraft made a new chunk system that relied on the max height of 256.
