We are building a new server, and need some advice with the World Gen Settings to generate the new world. This is not my strong suit, and I need to make sure I create a mostly natural server, while tweaking some custom settings.
I could just use trial and error and would eventually work it out on my own, but I have questions that none of my friends and even my tech team cannot answer.
Specifically, I need to ;
1. create a world with a specific max size (and show world border at those edges)
2. manipulate the amount and/or size of oceans
3. manipulate the number and frequency of dungeons
4. manipulate (if possible) woodland mansion frequency (instead of a single one)
5. A few more minor tweaks where I have questions to ensure I do have a grasp on it.
So, yeah.. this is readily apparent to most, but I have just never had the need to do this, and I want to ensure I do it precisely correct.
I will also be posting for assistance with custom loot tables, so if you have experience with that too, please let me know in your reply. There are many small things that I need to get done, but we can discuss that later. For now, I need to get this world generated and uploaded to my new setup server.
I am looking for someone with expert level advice, not for someone to take pot-shots guessing and fumbling around with it. So, please have the confidence and know-how before replying.
If you reply here, please let me know what you can help with, and what you need in return. If you prefer to message me directly, that is perfectly fine too (if that is allowed here, I do not want to break any rules.)
I can offer vouches (remember, I'm new here, so I am learning and I also need to prove myself as to this community like every new member) -- or, depending on the level of assistance I am more than willing to consider payment through PayPal.
I prefer Discord for communication, voice if possible, text only as a last resort. However, any agreements that become necessary will be written out and agreed to by both up-front.
Yes, I am new around here, but I've seen enough to know... get it in writing should anything go wrong, so that bother parties are protected. When we are done, I am more than willing to let the community know our transaction went well, and would expect the same from you.
Looking forward to some replies.
