Would Skyblock servers like Hypixel currently has work?

So I have this idea of a server I've been working on that is more like an adventure with a story, multiple side quests and story lines with a whole new plot I don't think I've seen on minecraft yet and all that revolving around Skyblock.

I've been wondering as I write up the documents for this game mode if a server like that could make it against a titan like Hypixel Skyblock is right now in that genre.

Skyblock is a booming gamemode and if you were to create something unique - Although there are Titan sized companies like Hypixel, Im sure if you advertised correctly you would do well.
