The thing is when someone finds out which plugin it is, it just ruins the point. It's not that effective at that point... But it would be really interesting if you guys figure out a way to make this work.

Yeah, that is an issue. But all anti-piracy has its flaws. Normal plugins are quite obvious, has to be one class. This, there could be 50 plugins that contain it, and it'd be time consuming to check all the code. And then if I had good obfuscation :shrug:

I mean can't they just buy the setup. Replace each plugin with the same plugin but from spigot or wherever it is and then bam.

I don't know if this is possible but,

have a folder that you get when you download the setup. In that is 1 thing, a little verify.exe thing. You double-click on that and it opens a GUI, you enter a secret passcode that the author gives to you (he makes it via a web panel). If that passcode is wrong, you get 2 other chances before everything gets deleted and you have to retry with another passcode. If you succeed, it'll generate all of the files into the folder. If it's used on a different IP it'll delete the key.
