DEADASS XDDDDDWell would that mean that fish can't see water to finish the statement? And if so, that would confirm the fact that crabs believe that fish are flying. But that would bring up the problem about whether or not crabs can see both, or if they can't see either.

Humans are extremely unlikely to reach a level of technological maturity that would grant them the power to produce simulated realities, or such simulations are almost impossible to make.
Well of course that would happen. There's going to be a species of higher race, there's no doubt about it. Can we tell what special things they can do? No. Are we certain we'll even be able to do research on this species? Probably not, think about. We're lower then this supposed race, they'll trust us the same way we treat pigs, cows, even other humans. Getting closer to this species is another way we could go extinct, suggesting that nothing terrible would happen between now and the time we find this species.
