How is this a scam - I made a thread before where I didn't write up a detailed description of what was going on, and people decided to rip the thread apart - Me and my best friend have a domain we want to sell, and if you offer us a reasonable offer we will sell it to you using a middle man or however else you want to do it.
This forum is filled with immature 10 year old's who have neither restraint nor any common sense - For those people, leave. You simply are not wanted here. Everyone in the minecraft business understands that Minecraft is a kids game, but who do you think provides the multiplayer entertainment for these kids? It takes responsible people to create and manage complex servers, while dealing with the business related to these servers, and I was hoping that here on MC Market there would be a few responsible server owners who are willing to act in a mature manner. WakaSoul, tell me, is that too much to ask for?

Racer, the domain itself brings in a fair amount of players, and since so many servers have been created there are little good available domains for sale. Mc-PvP is a domain that can be easily typed and memorized by users, while also showing a certain amount of prestige in that server. Domains that are direct and relevant are extremely good tools at increasing the value, player count, and prestige of a server.
The offer I received for 2,500 included the server itself, the domain itself is usually going for about (We have had some interested in this bracket) 500-700.[DOUBLEPOST=1440187910,1440187659][/DOUBLEPOST]People often spent upwards of 800 dollars on advertising for a 4-5 day slot on minecraftservers.org - This amount of money is not extremely large when you put it into perspective. The domain will over time bring in a large amount of players. Think about it in terms of SEO optimization. Any player who types in Mc or PvP or Minecraft will likely see the domain www.mc-pvp.com show up. For me, this is not the case because I have not yet invested the time in optimizing the search-ability of the domain because of a lack of expertise on my part. If one wishes to SEO optimize the domain you can go on any freelancer website and pay someone 10 dollars to do it for you.

If you have so many offers pal then take them why are you coming here being sketchy.
The domain is no where near worth that much. I am one of the people willing to pay 300-400 in a month. Now, he says someone offered 2500? Heck, I'd take the money and run because that person is dumb if they made that offer. You might as well buy multiple domains and link them to the same server for the same amount of traffic.
This is what he told me:
Has noone seen what this guy wrote? He said 2,500$ for the whole thing and he said the domain is 500-800$. So he is basically saying the plugins he has on his server is worth 4times the amount of the domain that people are here to purchase. Also, why would you put a high price like that on a server that got only 2,000 unique players in the entirety of 3 months.. My prison server has been up for 4 days and it has gotten 1,400 people. If Mc-PvP was worth what you are saying it is worth, then it should have gotten 10,000+ unique players so it can keep a stable player base of 50+. And that 2,500 can be spent on a .org slot for 2 weeks so you can get a 50-100player base guarantee, instead of paying for a domain that is more likely to just be another regular domain that people have to advertise themselves for it to get where you say it is.
