I want specifics tho. What really makes a ps4 run better than an xbox one etc?
Not sure what makes it run better but games are a lot smoother, saves money instead of buying batteries all the time, easy to setup and use, touchpad makes typing a lot easier, nicer layout easy to find everything (thats just a couple things)

Does the touch pad come with it? Or, do you need to buy that separate? Also, do I have to pay for the playstation live or network or whatever it is to play online with my friends?

If you'd like to play with friends from school, you probably should get whatever console the majority of them already got.

I got a playstation (which I think is better than an xbox), but I never have anyone to play with.

The touchpad is on every controller (all ps4 controllers)

Do you not have to pay for playstation live or whatever it is called, or have they changed that?[DOUBLEPOST=1504039515][/DOUBLEPOST]Shattered True, its pretty split in my school. I would say more of my friends have an Xbox One, however an equal amount has a PS4 as well.

You had 2 PCs, didn't you?
Yes, I still do. However, one is at my dads, and one is at my moms.

However, at my dads, my PC is in my office in the basement, and I live on the third floor.

Whereas at my moms my PC is in my room, however it is in a closet in the corner, and my bed is on the opposite side of the room with my TV in front of it.

This xbox vs ps4 is so much bullshit. Everyone who owns a ps4 says it is better just because they own it and vice versa with the xbox, no good reasons for one being superior to another.
Now, the xbox is the console I own so I will tell you pros/contras:
I have got a Xbox One S last Christmas and I am very satisfied of it.
+ The console is small, without lag in games as ps owners say and with a nice design.
+ I like the compatiblity with windows 10, I can use the controller on my pc without having to install any specific drivers and is very easy to connect. *Havent tried out the xbox dvr so far, I didnt find it useful.
+ Xbox Gold also brings you cool games, like 4/10 free games (you get 4 per month) are really nice games (I am not that into gaming, but I do enjoy the good games). This month I got Slime Rancher for example, I was so happy I don't have to buy it on steam.
+ The controller is so much better than the old ones, I was really suprised when I used it for the first time.
+ The xbox one has a part of xbox360 compability (its important because you said you owned one before) and I can play a lot of games from my old console.
+ The internet connection is gorgeous, I got with 150 mb/s more than on my pc even if its wifi connected!
- On the 500GB version you don't get true 500 gbs, you get under ~440gb(cant remember exactly right now) and thats a little bit annoying
- For some Disk Games you will have to wait until a large part of the game is downloaded, I hate this. If I wanted to wait and download I would have bought the game online ffs. I waited for like 60gb on Metal Gear Solid V...
- As far as I know xbox one isn't VR Ready yet, but the ps4 is.
~ The "exclusives" that bring ps4 so much more advantage vs xbox aren't that great tbh, I saw the list for the exclusives and "God of War" is the only game that I would most likely get because of the old ones I've played(RDR2 is xbox compatible btw, isnt ps4 exclusive anymore so pls dont bullshit), and if you said you will most likely play cod and fps games this shouldn't matter for you.

EDIT: No console is hard to set up for ffs and this shouldn't make you decide which console to buy, its most likely plug and play if you have an account already made.

I've had a PS4 for nearly 3 years now, here's my experience:
  • It sounds like a jet engine
  • Plays games flawlessly
  • Has more features and more user friendly experience
  • PlayStation Plus is more expensive
  • Less squeakers and annoying kids than Xbox
I have since upgraded to the beautiful master race, yet I still play on it sometimes. I rather PS4.

If you only had a ps4, how do you know it is easier to set up then a xbox? lmao
Kids, just because you've only had one of the consoles, this doesn't mean your console is better!

When did I say it was easier to set up than a xbox? I'm just giving my opinion on the PS4 out of my personal experience

I'd go with whatever the majority of your friends have, I personally like and use both but I use my Xbox more because more of my friends use it :p

PS Plus can get you a lot more than 4-10 per month. Not saying they're the most fun but if you're bored and want to try more games there's a ton of highly discounted and free games with PS Plus
