Xbox One or PS4

So coming from a guy who used to play Xbox 360 all time in 2013, I kind of have been a fan of the Xbox, but never have tried using a PS4. Should I waste my Christmas money on a PS4 or Xbox one, or not be stupid and just keep my money?
Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This would be something I'd consider, but I'd like to mainly play with irl friends, and hardly any have a PC. I have an Alienware from like 2013 (I know, I know), I was young and thought the brands were the best and was too ignorant to build my own, but it can run the few games I play on PC (CS:GO, Minecraft etc)

Yeah, go with a PC. You don't want to only be getting a max FPS of 30 on a console.

Xbox one will play at 60fps and so will the Ps4 they have a set price unlike a pc which can vary and is more dangerous due the higher price and also if one part breaks the whole thing does when a xbox does you can just send it back.

Would not recommend a PC.

Yes the graphics are better, but not as much people play.

Also, as you said, your friends don't play PC.

For a while, I played Black Ops II on my computer, but eventually I went back to console and I like it much more on console. Yes, it's not as high quality graphics wise, but who cares? It's much more fun.

If most of your friends play on a certain console, get that one.

Get an XB1.

You should get;

A PS4 if you want good gameplay as in graphics in all that.

A XboxOne if you want good muiltplayer experiences.
