Xenoforo Help

im having issues with my xenoforo i get this error "An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later."
any ideas

it was working a week ago then i switched hosts and then it broke i set everything correctly tho

You have to go to your FTP and into your library folder, down the bottom should be a .php file that says 'config.php' open that and edit it to make sure you have the right database details in there!

Ah, well, mak sure in your CPanel that it can connect to it.

Just wake sure that the database host doesn't say 'localhost' - sometimes that messes it up! If you go to 'Server Information' - on the right-hand side it will give you the host IP under 'Shared IP's', I think it is.

does it need time or is it instant bc it hasn't fixed itself

Have you moved your databases from your old host?[DOUBLEPOST=1495921698][/DOUBLEPOST]If not, then that'll be the problem. For you to move hosts, you either have to use the same database data, or do a fresh install.
