I don't have a Xiaomi laptop, but in my experience with Xiaomi phones, they tend to slow down significantly after 2~ years of usage. The laptops could be different, but it's something to take into consideration.

Currently wiriting this on a Xiaomi Mi 9T. Working well for now. I had experiences with a Xiaomi Mi A1, and I think I agree with you. Changed It after 2 years or so, you could notice that the phone was not performing as good as if It was new but wasnt too bad. (tbh I just wanted a new one)

If that happens on the laptops I am definitly not buying one, I need this laptop to last for a long time. Also, I will have to take a look at the warranty.

Thanks for your message.

After using a Xiaomi phone (Mi6) for almost 3 years now. It's working perfectly fine. Never slowed down and charges within 1 hour to 45 min and I can use it a full day.

So no it's not really a thing you should take into consideration unless you actually did proper research on it that's not based on personal anecdotes.

If that happens, and with most devices, reimage it. You'll be surprised with how fast it can become with a clean slate. Backup first ofc but yeah.

I would've if I still owned it, but it was passed on to a family member and retired shortly thereafter.
