Hey everyone. My name is Xixi. but that's probably not what you clicked on this thread for.
Since i don't have a mighty man to make me a thread design, i'll just get started by saying that i am a programmer, as a hobby, to be exact.

Semi-Relevant information:
I do plugin development, mainly only that. To gain some more reputation, i will be giving out two vouch copies to reputable members(I DO NOT TAKE REACTIONS AS REPUTABLE - VOUCHES ONLY), the plugin must be small though, {For vouch copies[and must not have over 2 commands(and maximum of three arguments)]}.

Relevant information:
My prices range depending on plugin size - small plugins i would say go around the 5-10 dollar mark, these small plugins are the same as what a vouch copy would get. A medium plugin would go over 10-60 dollars, while a large plugin will not be accepted due to time limitations, as you will see right now.

Quite a bit, i'm not the best, but neither am i the worst, im in the intermediate-high section i believe. I have plenty of knowledge in java and im trying to expand to C++ for game development, of course - while accepting criticism from other experienced programmers, always looking to improve, haha. I have also tried digging into web development, will see how that goes though.

Off topic:

Is there a development environment for web development? If so what would you recommend, im sort of a beginner.

As for web development, I use PHP for almost all my projects. I have tried out Node.JS once or twice, but I can never stick with it... it's just not what I'm used to.

PHP, despite its criticism and some strange coding conventions, is a very solid language with extensive documentation, a huge community, and a "majority hold" (most of the Internet uses it).

I'd definitely recommend PHP. Also, since you have a good understanding of Java, PHP should be a breeze to learn. PHP can be used in an object-orientated style just like Java. Java code is actually very similar to PHP syntactically.

The environment you would use is either Apache2 or Nginx. These are the two most common. I use Apache in most instances, but recently I've become interested in Nginx due to certain reasons that I won't get into in this post. Either way, PHP can be ran on both environments.
