If anything I prefer them not buying scrolls on it as then I can just buy it myself and it will be so much safer for me as only I have the tid.

There's a Mojang staff member on these forums, and it would make sense if he stopped the policy because Mojang doesn't really want people selling accounts and stuff in the first place. I doubt Mojang would hire shitty support people, they just probably aren't going to make a formal announcement regarding the change in policy.
