"Your Resources" Customisation

I was thinking that the page with a particular person's resources is essentially their shop, for example here is mine: https://www.mc-market.org/resources/authors/52975/

I think it would be cool if we could customise these pages, adding some graphics on the top or a background, and sorting products into categories so that it's more presentable for potential customers.

You only want it to show off your photoshop skills. Smh. I disagree cause I'm uneducated and cant make resources.

If this were to be implemented, it would make looking at resources from certain authors much harder than need be; that is, to say, that a relatively minimalistic and consistent design for resources (like right now) should be kept.

You can keep a minimalist design for your resources if you'd like, but I think having a more aesthetically pleasing way to present your resources is far better, it can be down to the individual whether they want to enhance their page. These pages are also not used that frequently so it will give them a bit more purpose and potentially increase sales. Allowing us to customise the layout and categorisation could also make it easier to view resources not more difficult, it would be down to the seller to create a page that both looks nice and is functional.

Honestly I think that would be cool if you could make it look more like your own personal shop portal and bring a bit more organisation and graphics to it rather than a list. Especially if you have different types of resources under the same category!

I'm not against this idea but it seems like a low priority (a bit of work for little gain) compared to some other issues surrounding resources like the management page's load times.

This is unfortunately always going to be the best way to do it. While MC-Market tries to allow some customisability, we're not really going to be able to add the level of customisability you seem to be looking for. In the past year as our resources system has grown, I've seen a lot of users make their own custom site and link to resources manually like that.

I'd recommend you do that, this isn't the sort of thing I want to get made for MCM.
