I'm starting up a channel. Going to be Minecraft based, let's plays, mostly hunger games, factions, hypixel, and more Minecraft games.

Wondering, tips for quality and such?

And, of course, setup.

What recording software?
My mic - Blue Snowball (Should I upgrade)?
My PC - (Long list, its beefy)
Editing software?

Sony Vegas is way too expensive. I suggest using the free trial for Adobe Premiere Pro, the same for Photoshop. Although I highly suggest hiring twinightcreep0 for your graphics as he does an amazing job!

The Blue Snowball microphone is fairly good, I wouldn't really consider upgrading for a few months at least or until you get a small to medium fan base.

OBS is fantastic for recording, I use it on my YouTube channel myself. The only flaw would be that it is really reliant on RAM. Which means that you may lag a bit when recording depending on the specs of your computer and what you have open.
