| Skyclash - We are delighted to present a cool new concept inspired from famous skyblock servers but turned into our own vision. Short description? Combine two of the most popular game styles of skyblock into a non p2w server. Yes, we know this non p2w concept is being promoted unfairly, but check us out before you judge.
We are looking for a Youtuber or Streamer that matches our vision and wants to make a long serie on our community. We are open to any offer so don't hesitate to contact me ZenAndreas#7949 for any discussion. We cannot afford a big youtuber so please don't come asking 1000$ per video.
About the Competitive aspect of the game
Skyclash desires to reach another type of playerbase. A friendly playerbase which shares the desire to play the game, not just for the payouts, but for the fun aswell. Thus, our payouts are not large and will probably never will be. Our payouts are symbolical, a way to say "Congratulations" for your effort, but not big enough to be the only reason to play.
How are you getting funded then?
You would be surprised how much money you need to run a decent server. We believe we will make enough to sustain this community for a loooong time. We do not wish to create a "grab cash" server, in which we would make money in the first month, close it, and open under another name. Sounds familiar?
Here are some of our features
- Only one crate to rule them all. The Nether Monster guards the Nether portal and grants you rewards only if you bring him Cookies. You can get Cookies by voting and claiming your daily rewards ( read more below ).
- No mob spawners. Getting rid of the clutch they create, we added Minions and Handy Orbs. You have limitations which makes you think what type of minions to add and use on your island. Plus, the more members you have, the more minion slots you get. Good luck !
- Custom Crafting = Custom Items. Similar to popular skyblock servers, you can craft custom items by combining normal items. For example, 64 Porkchops gives you 1 Enchanted Porkchop which can then be used to craft the Pig Set or Pig Sword. You get the jist !
- How can you get Island Value? There are several ways. We keep getting asked "Whats the economy?". People are so used with standardized economy panels that tell you exactly what to do and what to sell. You can fill your island with Emerald Minions to get the most value but, emeralds are not so great at crafting so you'll get behind gear when a 800 HP enemy bashes your head in PVP. You have to find balance, between progression and island value.
- No game breaking custom enchants. You are able to enchant your items with standard enchantings , with small changes ofcourse. The main attributes you'll care about are Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence, which you get by leveling. You also get skill points, which can upgrade your class skills or add gemstones on your slotted items. So much more to learn right? You'll get it eventually.
- Custom Islands and custom maps loaded with mobs that give you exp and items. Watch out for the world events occuring periodically to get more rewards and don't forget to Vote for our server. All players can claim the daily reward but the higher the rank, the better the reward. Don't worry, its not a big difference, and can be claimed only once per week.
