Zade Servers Review

I will be reviewing Zade Servers VPS Hosting in Finland.

In my review I have performed various tasks to test the quality of their servers.

My first thoughts on this host was that, its just another VPS hosting company. A company which provides European VPS's like any other host. But later did I discover... it was anything but a regular VPS host. The VPS are KVM VPS's meaning all the resources are dedicated to the client. Pricing starts at $2.50/GB which is less than most hosts currently on the market. They offer a minimum of 1GB and a maximum of 16GB. The servers all range with CPU cores and Bandwidth limits, gradually increasing with the more RAM you purchase. Any server from 1GB to 3GB comes with a fair share cpu usage, whilst any server above 3GB comes with dedicated cpu usage. The price of their best package is $40.00 which is very reasonable for a 16GB Server with 4 cores, 200GB SSD and 16TB Bandwidth. Their VPS servers run on the Intel Core i7-7700 @ a speed of 3.60GHz.

The Network
Firstly might I say the server itself gives me a great ping, even though I am in the UK and the node is hosted in Finland. With an average ping of 91ms, this server has an incredible ping for the location it is in. Doing a network download speed test the server was able to download these files: 100MB File - 23.6/seconds 1GB File - 170.3/seconds

This was a little on the slow side however the price fully makes up for this and for a development environment it fully meets its purpose. This was a test done downloading files from Germany.

I had also downloaded the files from Canada, this had gave me suprising results. 100MB File - 13.8/seconds 1GB File - 79.4/seconds

This was incredibly suprising to me and showed that the server network is great for both the US and EU region.

The Hardware
Zade Servers offers great hardware. Their VPS node runs on a Intel Core i7-7700 @ 3.60GHz which is perfect for VPS hosting. This seventh generation CPU provides a great gaming experience and overall good environment to work with. The CPU can have the occasional spike when under heavy load, but is managed greatly by their trained team of professionals. Overall the hardware is great and I would definitely recommend it for VPS Hosting.

The Performance
Zade Servers offer dedicated cores on all their servers, to test this I had used GeekBench and the results were great. They had received a score of 5127 on the single core performance test and 5022 on the multi core performance test. The Experience
The staff team where really helpful, they had configured and setup my VPS within several minutes of it being requested, everything was setup quickly and smoothly and I had access really quickly. With this in mind during the setup process they had installed Ubuntu 16.04 and setup a VNC Server for me. Their website is very responsive and although they use a template it is one of my favourite templates and is really easy to navigate and use. The status of the server is very high with 100% Uptime within the last 2 weeks.

Final Rating
Overall the VPS hosting was a treat to use. It was very nice and I would really recommend them for development usage. The server has a great quality and although the network is a little on the low side it is still incredibly great for the low price. My final rating on this service would be 7 out of 10.
