Boomerangs introduces a new throwing weapon to your Minecraft server, it deals low but repeating damage giving players new way to fight. Boomerangs were tested on my own server for about a month and players had a lot of fun fighting each other using them. Plugin includes custom boomerang enchantments and items that feel completely vanilla - no custom GUIs, no fake anvils, and no external dependencies. Boomerangs look like wooden swords by default, but suggested texture is included in purchased files, besides that this plugin is Plug & Play. If you want to ask me some questions feel free to DM me on discord "dabbiks".
- Smooth Flight Mechanics: Boomerangs are rendered using ItemDisplay entities, providing buttery-smooth flight paths, realistic rotation, and flawless interpolation.
- Native Enchantment System: Boomerang enchantments are injected directly into the server's registry. They appear naturally in standard Enchanting Tables and can be combined or applied using vanilla Anvils.
- Team-Friendly: Built-in support for vanilla Scoreboard Teams. Boomerangs will pass through your teammates without dealing damage (configurable).
- Fully Configurable: Customize the base item, CustomModelData, durability, display name, and the crafting recipe.
Boomerangs feature their own exclusive set of enchantments.
- Perfect catch (Max Level: 5) Grants a chance to completely negate durability loss when successfully catching the returning boomerang.
- Sharp edge (Max Level: 3) Directly increases the base impact damage of the boomerang.
- Repercussion (Max Level: 3) Deals high bonus damage, but only when hitting an enemy on the boomerang's return flight.
- Erosion (Max Level: 3) Deals increased durability damage to all armor pieces worn by the target upon impact.
- Recall (Max Level: 1) After striking an entity teleports back into player's inventory.
- Executioner (Max Level: 1) If the boomerang lands a killing blow on an entity, it completely repairs all of its missing durability.
Players aren't the only ones who can use boomerangs! Husks have a 20% chance to spawn equipped with a boomerang. They are bound by the same rules and must wait a short cooldown before throwing it again.
