Materials in the Color Picker menu Changes Damage number Values Based on Material Density.
This update focuses on improving the feel, reliability, and combat readability of the Earth Ability System. The biggest improvement is a full control polish pass for spawned Earth parts, especially the Earth Wall, so abilities no longer spin in place or interrupt gameplay flow after being moved, released, and regrabbed.
Major Control Polish
Earth parts now behave more consistently when reselected with Shift. Previously, Wall, Pillar, and Ball could sometimes spin in place after being moved and then regrabbed. This update removes that current-position spin behavior and makes regrabbed parts return to clean controlled follow movement based on the player’s facing direction.
Hold Shift near Earth part = Regrab part
Regrabbed Wall/Pillar/Ball now follows player-facing direction
No more spinning in place after regrab
No more CFrame fighting during camera movement
Earth Wall No-Spin Update
Earth Wall movement has been rebuilt to feel smoother and more reliable.
The Wall now:
Moves using player-facing direction
Keeps upright yaw-only rotation
Wipes unwanted angular velocity while controlled
No longer spins after left/right movement
No longer spins after forward movement
No longer spins when regrabbed with Shift
This makes the Wall feel much better for combat setups, repositioning, and pushing attacks.
Regrab System Improvements
The regrab system has been cleaned up across all controllable Earth parts.
Updated parts include:
Earth Ball / Stone
Earth Wall
Earth Pillar
Instead of holding the part in place and rotating it with camera movement, the part now returns to a controlled position near the player based on facing direction. This prevents spin bugs and makes the system feel much closer to a polished bending-style combat kit.
Combat Interaction Stability
This update keeps the previous combat functionality while making it more stable:
Ball can still be thrown forward, left, or right
Wall and Pillar can still break Earth/destructible parts when moved
Wall can still be pushed forward
Air-pushed Wall still drops and breaks after momentum ends
Pillar still fires 3 slab projectiles
Earth parts remain destructible during active movement
Current Control Summary
Ctrl = Toggle shift-lock aim mode
W + W = Sprint
Q + WASD = Dash direction
Hold Shift = Earth ability stance / regrab nearby Earth
Shift + Mouse Click = Earth Ball / use selected Earth
Shift + A + Mouse Click = Throw Ball left
Shift + D + Mouse Click = Throw Ball right
Shift + S = Earth Wall
Shift + W = Earth Pillar
Shift + A / D while holding Wall or Pillar = Move ability left/right
Shift + Space = Earth Stomp
Overall Result
This update makes the Earth Ability System cleaner, smoother, and more combat-ready. Wall handling is more stable, regrab behavior is more predictable, and spawned Earth parts no longer fight the camera or spin in place during gameplay.
Perfect for developers building:
Elemental combat games
Bending-style battlegrounds
Anime-inspired PvP systems
Part-based ability kits
Arena combat frameworks
Roblox magic systems
Earth Ability System Update — Combat Feel, Controls & Movement Polish
This update focuses on making the Earth Ability System feel much closer to a polished Roblox bending-style combat kit, with improved ability control, movement flow, cooldown handling, and better part-based combat interactions.
New & Improved Features
Earth Ball / Stone Improvements
The Earth Ball now has a cleaner combat flow and more reliable directional control.
Players can now:
Shift + Mouse Click = Raise / Use Earth Ball
Shift + A + Mouse Click = Throw Ball Left
Shift + D + Mouse Click = Throw Ball Right
Shift + Mouse Click with no side input = Throw Ball Forward
The Ball now also has a proper cooldown system, improved destruction timing, and better interaction with spawned Earth parts and destructible parts.
Wall Ability Polish
The Earth Wall has been improved heavily for combat reliability.
Updates include:
Wall can be pushed forward
Wall can be reselected if close enough
Wall rotation is smoother and no longer spins wildly
Wall can break other Earth/destructible parts when moved
Wall now drops and breaks after being launched into the air
Players can no longer ride the wall when it is launched
If a player is standing on the Wall when it is pushed, the Wall now launches forward and upward around torso height, then drops and destroys itself instead of carrying the player with it.
Pillar / Slab Updates
The Earth Pillar has been refined so it feels more aggressive and useful during combat.
The Pillar now:
Shoots Earth slabs instead of block chunks
Fires 3 projectiles before despawning
Breaks walls and other destructible Earth parts when moved left/right
Uses improved drop and destruction timing after projectile travel
Earth Stomp Cleanup
Earth Stomp now behaves like a fast impact move instead of staying around too long.
Shift + Space = Earth Stomp
Stomp appears, impacts, then disappears quickly
Movement & Control Updates
This update adds smoother character movement and better combat control.
New movement features:
W + W = Sprint
Ctrl = Shift-lock style camera/aim mode
Shift = Earth stance / ability hold mode
While holding Shift, the player is locked in place for ability aiming and cannot walk or jump. This gives the ability system a more controlled combat stance feel.
Ctrl shift-lock keeps the mouse centered and lets the player turn with camera movement, making combat aiming much cleaner.
Cooldown System Added
Each move now has its own cooldown behavior instead of everything feeling spammy or inconsistent.
Included cooldown handling for:
Earth Ball
Earth Wall
Earth Pillar
Earth Stomp
Dash
Earth Grab / Reselect
The system now also gives cooldown feedback through the HUD when a move is not ready yet.
Damage & Destruction Improvements
Spawned Earth parts now interact more consistently with combat.
Earth parts can:
Damage players during active attack movement
Break other spawned Earth parts
Break parts marked as destructible
Destroy on impact where appropriate
Drop and crumble after momentum ends
This makes the system feel more physical, more reactive, and more satisfying in combat.
Control Summary
Ctrl = Toggle shift-lock aim
W + W = Sprint
Q + WASD = Dash direction
Hold Shift = Earth ability stance
Shift + Mouse Click = Earth Ball / Use selected Earth
Shift + A + Mouse Click = Throw Ball Left
Shift + D + Mouse Click = Throw Ball Right
Shift + S = Earth Wall
Shift + W = Earth Pillar
Shift + A / D while holding Wall or Pillar = Move ability left/right
Shift + Space = Earth Stomp
Overall Update Goal
This update makes the Earth Ability System feel more responsive, more readable, and more combat-ready. The controls are tighter, Earth parts behave more physically, cooldowns are cleaner, and the kit now has a stronger bending-inspired gameplay flow while still using simple Roblox Parts instead of custom meshes.
Perfect for developers who want a strong foundation for:
Elemental combat games
Bending-style battlegrounds
Anime-inspired ability systems
Arena PvP kits
Part-based magic systems
Roblox combat frameworks
