Conan Exiles Enhanced — Egg with Mod Support | Pelican & Pterodactyl
Host your own Conan Exiles Enhanced dedicated server with full Steam Workshop mod support — directly on Pelican Panel or Pterodactyl Game Panel.
This egg is built for the Enhanced version of Conan Exiles (Unreal Engine 5), which was introduced in May 2026. It runs the native Linux dedicated server — no Wine, no compatibility layer, just clean performance.
Features
Native Linux server (UE5 / Enhanced) — no Wine required
Full Steam Workshop mod support via modlist.txt
Automatic mod compatibility check — detects Enhanced vs. Legacy mods before loading
Mods are downloaded and updated automatically on every server start
Compatible with Pelican Panel and Pterodactyl
Mod Compatibility
The egg automatically checks each mod against the Steam Workshop tags and PAK file format. Incompatible mods (Legacy/UE4) are skipped with a warning — the server always starts, even if a mod is blocked.
Installation
Download the archive and extract the egg YAML file for your panel
Import the egg into Pterodactyl or Pelican
Create a new server and assign the egg
Configure the server variables (ports, max players, etc.)
Start the server — game files and mods are installed automatically
This egg requires the Enhanced (UE5) version of Conan Exiles. If you are looking for the older Legacy (UE4/Wine) setup, please check my other eggs.

Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad to hear the egg works as expected.
Regarding your concerns about pricing and the community spirit, I'd like to offer some context:
I am actually a long-standing contributor to the Pterodactyl community myself. If you take a look at the public repository, you'll find that roughly 50% of all eggs available there were contributed by me — all for free. So I think my commitment to the open-source spirit speaks for itself.
There is also a free, basic version of this egg publicly available on GitHub, which you're welcome to use. However, my version is not simply a repackage of that. It is an extended and significantly enhanced version that fully handles mod management, including the download, installation, and uninstallation of mods — functionality that required considerable development time to build.
This paid version explicitly includes personal support, and it is precisely the high demand for that support that makes offering it for free unsustainable. Every sale typically results in 1–2 hours of individual support per person, which adds up quickly.
I have no issue with people choosing the free alternatives — that's exactly why they exist. But I think it's worth acknowledging that charging a fair price for an extended, actively supported product does not contradict community values, especially coming from someone who has freely contributed as much as I have.
I hope that provides some clarity.
Best regards
