JunkTycoon Setup - Progression Game v1.4

JunkTycoon v1.4 is now available.

This update focuses on final release packaging, cleaner installation, and better support for both buyers who use ItemsAdder and buyers who do not.

What's Changed

• The default server setup now runs a resourcepack.
• Added a separate Optional Addons/ItemsAdder/ folder for buyers who already own ItemsAdder.
• Included the latest JunkTycoon resource pack bundle and 3D trash-pick/resource-pack assets.
• Added plot-world void rescue: players who fall into the void in the plot world are safely returned to their plot before death, preventing inventory loss during building or testing.

Important Notes

ItemsAdder is optional. The default setup does not include ItemsAdder.jar or require ItemsAdder to be installed.

If you own ItemsAdder and want to use the optional pack integration, copy the files from:

Optional Addons/ItemsAdder/

into your server root and regenerate/apply the pack through your normal ItemsAdder workflow.

We’ve shipped a new update for the JunkTycoon setup focused on stability, modern version support, and a stronger long-term gameplay loop.

What’s New
Upgradeable Player Plots
Players can now claim their own scrapyard-style plot and upgrade it over time. The plot system is built around player creativity rather than prefab upgrades, giving players room to build their own style while progressing through the tycoon.

Plot Upgrade Progression
The upgrade menu now includes:
Plot size upgrades
Unlockable placeable blocks
Block restocking through the shop
Plot pets
Pet settings and customization

Wooden Hoe Menu Integration
The plot upgrade system is integrated directly into the existing wooden hoe upgrade menu, so it feels like part of the normal JunkTycoon flow instead of a separate system.

Pet Companions
Pets now follow players naturally, can be renamed, toggled between follow/stay behavior, and provide small configurable bonuses while players are picking trash.

Compatibility & Packaging

This setup is packaged for Paper 26.1.2 and has been updated with current public/free plugin builds where possible. No paid plugins are required for the added plot progression system.

This update is recommended for all customers using the JunkTycoon setup.

Hey Customers & future Customers,

this is the first larger Content Update to the Setup/JunkTycoon Gamemode. In this update I changed a lot of stuff and added a completely new Feature: Artifacts. Let's go over it!

New Feature: Artifacts

• Players can now find "Artifact Shards" while picking Trash. There are 7 rarities of Artifact Shards
• Players can now craft "Artifacts", which are Offhand Items which give Trash XP and Money Multipliers (in percentage). There are 7 rarities of Artifacts.
• All Artifact Shards and Artifacts can ofc be renamed, reconfigured etc. via the new artifacts.yml. In there you can also adjust the prices of the Artifacts (how many Shards of which are needed to craft/forge them).
• At the Spawn there is a giant Anvil, where players can craft/forge Artifacts with their found Artifact Shards. They can also do "/jt artifacts", "/artifacts" or "/artifact" to open the Forging-GUI.

New (Admin) Feature: /jt inspect <player>
- This command allows Admins to see all of a Players Stats. It's displaying the current Multipliers, the current amount of Shards, Trash Pick Stats etc.

Updated Command: /jt stats
- /jt stats now does not show in chat anymore. It now opens a clean and well sorted GUI, which displays all your Stats as a Player.

Added Commands:

• /jt give artifactshards <player> <rarity> <amount> - Gives a Player X amount of Artifact Shards of a specified rarity
• /jt give artifact <player> <rarity> <amount> - Gives a Player a Artifact
• /jt remove artifactshards <player> <rarity> <amount> - Removey X amount of Artifacts Shards of a Rarity from a Player
• /jt artifacts (Alias: /artifacts & /artifact) - Opens the Artifacts Forge

Added Placeholders:

• %jt_multiplier_money% - Shows the current overall Money Multiplier a Player has
• %jt_multiplier_xp% - Shows the current overall Trash XP Multiplier a Player has

General Updates / Fixes:

• Spawn: The Spawn was updated. NPC placement was changed, Artifact Forge is added.
• Tab & Scoreboard: Tab and Scoreboard got a Update to look cleaner and more organized + I also added Multiplier display to it, so players know what their current multipliers are.
• CrazyVouchers (Plugin): Fixed new command logic. (Perks inside the Pointshop were broken because of this update from the Plugin Owner, I changed that.)
• NPC's: The NPC's around Spawn now have slightly different Holograms above their head (for better readability)
• Crates: The Crates have a whole new and better looking Hologram above them now
