KITS▸SKRIPT
Category-Based Kit Management for Skript
Organized • Lightweight • Drag-Free • Server Ready
■ OVERVIEW
Most kit plugins dump everything into one flat list with no room to grow. Kits changes that — category-based organization, player head icons, and a clean drag-free GUI, all packed into a single lightweight Skript file.
Built entirely in Skript with a single addon dependency, Kits is plug-and-play on any Paper or Purpur server running 1.16 through 1.21+.
■ WHY KITS?
✔ Three category slots — organize kits your way
✔ Player head icons via username — no resource pack needed
✔ Live category switching without closing the GUI
✔ Full drag and item-move protection — nothing leaks out
✔ Preview any kit before equipping it
✔ LuckPerms integration — gate kits behind permission nodes
✔ Single file, zero bloat
■ 🗂 CATEGORY SYSTEM
• 3 fixed category slots at the bottom of the GUI
• Each category has a custom name and icon
• Clicking a tab switches kits instantly without reopening
• Active category highlighted, inactive shown as stone buttons
• Rename and re-icon any category with simple commands
■ ⚔ KIT MANAGEMENT
• Save your current inventory as a kit in one command
• Saves full inventory, armor, and offhand
• Overwrite kit contents without losing its slot or icon
• Move kits between categories and slots freely
• Delete kits cleanly with full variable cleanup
■ 🖼 ICON SYSTEM
• Set any item as a kit icon
• Type a player username to use their head as the icon
• Change icons live via middle-click in the GUI (OP only)
• Chat-based input — mobile and console friendly
• Note: Player head icons require a Java Edition client to render correctly. Bedrock clients will display a generic head.
■
• Right-click any kit to open a read-only preview
• Displays full armor set, offhand, and inventory contents
• Completely interaction-locked — nothing can be taken
■
• Optionally gate any kit behind a permission node
• Works with LuckPerms out of the box — no extra setup
• Players without the permission see a denial message
• Remove permissions at any time to make a kit free again
• Example: /kits setperm Starter kits.kit.starter
