This plugin isn't just a basic arena wrapper. It’s a complete kit-based FFA engine designed to automate everything: from player inventory layouts and combat tagging to block-by-block map rollbacks and dynamic in-game configuration menus.

Features

Selector Menu
When players type /ffa or right-click the lobby sword, they are greeted by a fully customized GUI. We designed this to be clean, intuitive, and highly interactive:

• Live Session Stats: Players can hover over any kit icon to see real-time diagnostics: how many players are currently fighting in that arena, what map it's hosted on, and the exact countdown timer before the arena resets.
• Dynamic GUI Resets: The GUI updates its timers and player counts in real time (every 1 second) while open, eliminating the need for players to close and reopen the interface.
• Custom Layouts & Fillers: Say goodbye to messy, cluttered menus. Server owners can define the exact inventory grid size in the config, assign fixed item slots to specific kits (e.g. putting your most popular kit right in the center), auto-slot the rest, and style all empty slots with custom-colored glass panes or clean placeholder items.
• One-Click Interaction: Left-clicking a kit joins the corresponding active arena. Right-clicking the active kit leaves the arena and returns the player to the lobby.

Admin Control
Tired of opening and reloading configuration files every time you want to change an arena setting? The /ffaadmin GUI puts absolute control directly inside Minecraft:

• Live Session Monitor: Instantly see an overview of every running FFA session, active player counts, and map rollbacks.
• Toggle Kit Status: Enable or disable any kit's FFA arena in real time with a single click.
• In-Game Arena Selector: Open a visual selector of all your built Neptune arenas and link them to your kits on the fly.
• Interactive Spawn Point Editor: Walk into your arena, open the GUI, and click to add or remove spawn points at your feet. NeptuneFFA will randomly cycle through these coordinates when players spawn or respawn.
• Live GUI Slot Arranger: You can visually organize your player selector menu right from the admin screen. Left-click the chest icon to increment the kit's slot, right-click to decrement, or shift-click to move it by entire rows (9 slots). The layout updates and saves instantly!
• Worldgen Rollback Toggle: Enable block rollback resets for arenas where players are allowed to build or break blocks.

Mechanics

Block Rollbacks
If your kits permit block placing or editing (like Nodebuff, BedWars, or BuildUHC), toggle the Worldgen feature ON. Every time the arena session timer hits zero:
1. Players are safely teleported back to the lobby.
2. The plugin automatically triggers a block restoration of the map using either a FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE) clipboard or an in-memory cuboid snapshot.
3. The arena resets pristine and re-opens 3 seconds later.

Combat Tagging
No more combat logging. When players damage each other, they are tagged for combat.

• Visual Timer: Sends a sleek, live action bar countdown (e.g., Combat Tag: 8s) supporting custom hex colors and fonts.
• Action Block: Prevents teleportation, lobby commands, and escape commands while tagged. Adrenaline-fueled fights stay fair.

Formatting Support
Stand out with custom aesthetics. The plugin fully parses:

• Standard Minecraft color codes (e.g., &a, &d, &l)
• Modern Hex color codes (e.g., &#FF5555)
• Kyori MiniMessage tags (e.g., <gradient:red:blue> or <gold>)

Use them in player chat messages, scoreboard lines, menus, and the combat tag action bar.

Configuration

NeptuneFFA uses three distinct configurations in your plugins/NeptuneFFA/ folder:
1. config.yml - Global plugin options, custom scoreboard lines, and player selection menu layout/fillers.
2. messages.yml - Customize all chat messages, warning intervals, death alerts, and the combat action bar layout.
3. kits.yml - Individual settings for each kit, including active status, arena mappings, spawn coordinates, and menu slot positions (edited automatically by the /ffaadmin GUI).

Permissions
neptuneffa.admin - Full admin command permissions. (Default: OP)
