Ive been using Phantom for my addons and overall it’s been good, but after some recent updates Ive run into a few issues
- IP whitelisting now auto-adds IPs when the product is used, but clients cant manually whitelist IPs themselves. This causes problems when people test on localhost because it uses up one of the allowed slots and then I have to remove it manually.
- The API response can be confusing. When HWID limit is reached it sometimes returns “max IPs reached”, which makes debugging license checks harder.
- Ive also had trouble getting Discord OAuth working on my Phantom. Buzz did try to help troubleshoot it but we couldn’t get it working on my side.
I really love how Phantom functions and appreciate its core features. However, I believe it could be improved with a more user-friendly and modern design to enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, integrating a Discord login would make the onboarding process smoother and more seamless. A built-in store feature would also be a fantastic addition, allowing users to access and manage their assets more conveniently within the platform. Overall, with these improvements, Phantom could become an even more powerful and user-centric tool.
Phantom Licence Manager is a brilliant tool with a wide range of features. The installation can be a bit challenging at first, but once set up it works perfectly. From my side, it’s a clear recommendation to buy!
This product has been very reliable over the past 3-4 months I've owned it. The integration is basically just a 1 step process only needing to tweak a minor amount of settings. I'm really excited for the future of this product.
A good product, still needs some updates, let's see what Buzz will deliver to us in the future, the support is very good, although my problem needs to be resolved in a future update, they were very attentive
