VANILLA AND MODDED PLAYERS TOGETHER
The client mod is optional — every player can join the same server.
The client mod is optional — every player can join the same server.
| VANILLA PLAYERS | WITH PROXIMITY RADIO CLIENT |
|---|---|
| No additional installation | Exact current playback position |
| Generated Minecraft resource pack | More accurate synchronization |
| Native positional Minecraft audio | Seeking, pause and resume synchronization |
| Configurable vanilla join behavior | Configurable distance falloff |
Without the optional client mod, a player joining an already playing track may not start at its exact current timestamp. Full synchronization happens automatically when the track changes, and vanilla playback remains fully supported through the resource pack.
The server sends a Minecraft resource pack automatically, so players do not need to install any mods to listen. Without the optional client mod, vanilla players cannot join an already playing track at its exact current timestamp.
PLAY FROM START — the entering player hears the current track from the beginning.
RESTART TRACK — the current track restarts for every listener.
WAIT FOR SYNC — the entering player waits until the next full track begins.
A new or manually changed track synchronizes every listener again.
If the mod is unavailable or incompatible, playback automatically continues through the vanilla resource-pack system.
