Overview
Purple Launcher is a free, Minecraft launcher forked from Prism Launcher (MultiMC/PolyMC lineage), rebuilt with a custom dark-purple UI, an offline-first account system, and a long list of quality-of-life features for both beginners and power users.
Key Features- Play without Microsoft/premium — full offline accounts with custom skins (local PNG or custom skin server), stable derived UUIDs, account aliases, and import/export.
- Custom auth support — authlib-injector / Yggdrasil accounts for custom servers.
- Beginner-friendly onboarding — first-run wizard that creates and launches a recommended instance, one-click "Play" button, automatic Java management, and RAM/JVM suggestions.
- Power-user tools — per-instance launch profiles (vanilla/modded/debug), mod profiles, background mod-update checks, LAN game discovery & quick-join, playtime statistics, batch actions, and backup/restore.
- Built-in mod platform integration — browse, install and update mods via CurseForge & Modrinth.
