RealShops - Physical Player Shops v1.5.0

Nice idea and intentions. Bad execution at its finest.

If you want a dead plugin, that is only being mantained for bug fixed, buy this plugin.
If you want new features and actual updates, this is definetly not that plugin, one of the few plugins I truly regret buying.

At the time of writing this, you can not put up for sale more of what you have in your inventory.
You can create shops, you can not edit them after creating.
This plugin doesn't have a "stock" feature, so if you wanna sell for example 10 stacks of cobblestone, Have fun inputing each stack in the shop and pricing each stack individually.
You are not able to sell more than what you are able to carry in your inventory, as you can not edit the shop afterwards, you NEED to create multiple shops if you have a lot of items to sell.

This is the 2nd review attempt after the developer opened a dispute on my negative review.
This was confirmed to be compliant to BBB guidelines by JC in a support ticket.

The developer will provide good support to get the plugin working.

I talked with the developer about adding some features 7 months ago (april 2025)
So I talked with the dev (Pledix) in april about adding this "stock" capability. He said he will do it at some point. 7 Months later still missing.
I talk to the developer again this month (November 2025), telling him again about the stock feature, and maybe adding the possibility to edit a shop after creation, so people can add more items for sale (more than what you are able to carry)
I was told that:
1. He is focusing on another plugin "that has the potential to shape the market" - his words.
2. "If a product isn't getting enough attention, as a developer I could try my luck with another product."
- My answer to this was:
If a product isn't getting enough attention, maybe improve the product lol
3. Claimed a lot of other plugins are "simple plugins" and "beneath him" as he said "I am developing high complexity ideas."
Yet he still cant properly maintain one single resource, whilst he dreams of doing multiple to poorly mantain.

"Don't get me wrong, but what you're promised is what you're offered about the product before you buy it.
So, I'm not obligated to provide you with anything beyond the product working as advertised. But despite that, I try to add things and keep it updated.
If I didn't care about my customers, I definitely wouldn't have released an update."



The only "feature" that was added since I purchased this, is the ability to have multiple shops open by the same player, in my opinion a terrible solution to the features people were requesting.
The only "updates" that he is doing is keeping up with minecraft version and bug fixes.


But it highly represents the mindset of the developer and I quote: "'Don't get me wrong, but what you're promised is what you're offered about the product before you buy it.

If I didn't care about my customers, I definitely wouldn't have released an update." Im not saying he is wrong, he is not obligated, but then, we are not obligated to support such developers.

He said he is working on another plugin "with potential to shape the market", after my experience with him and this plugin, im never purchasing anything from this developer unless I see some things change.

TL;DR

After months of using this plugin, I do not recommend to anyone this plugin. It was a good idea with shitty implementation sadly.

This review comes from a PAID customer, if this was a free plugin I would have no expectations.

Amazing plugin, everything is very easy to set up and configurable and also there's great support from the developer

The developer is really kind, and the quality is absolutely satisfying. There are no unnecessary commands, and everything is well-organized.
