Hey, So I run some huge gaming servers for a different video game. I wanted to ask and see what the community thinks is the best and most effective advertising method for Minecraft? I understand this can be debatable with certain people, but overall what would you guys say the best way to advertising a Minecraft server is?


Looking for good honest feedback don't want any trolling or any bs. Straight to the point what is the best investment for growing a Minecraft server when it comes to marketing?

Notes:
- I have a Minecraft server fully custom developed.
- I have the investment money to invest. (Anything under 1.5k investment return ratio.)
- Not interested in middlemans wanting money just to contact a YouTuber.

Objective:
I'm looking to grow my Minecraft server and bring in a steady flow of players, I need to bring in players at a steady growing ratio at the same time investing my money into solid marketing. I know and heard YouTubers-Streamers are an efficient way to market, thoughts?

Honestly, Discord advertising is the way to go. Make an appealing post about your server (don't use the same old "Unique server" and "Insane Kits"). Put some really good invite rewards and wait for players to flow in! Youtuber don't net too much so until you have a good player base, don't pull in youtubers yet. Also, try to get dedicated Youtubers in when the time is right.

Look for servers that has few advertised servers, active community and preferably MC related. I don't have any of these types of servers joined now, but just look for some. Keep joining all invite links you get. Only spend in servers that are doing 1-5 dollars for an advertisement.
