Contacted them on their Discord a week ago and they said the position isn't paid. If you want to get paid, don't even bother with them.

Things change. Why would we put "For questions about pay please wait till the interview. Pay will vary on experience and skill." if this didn't turn into a paid position? Please don't spread false information.
How can you magically afford developers now if one week ago you couldn't? Makes no sense.
Never said we couldn't afford it. We most definitely can. We want to find quality people who care more about their works vs just getting paid. We have run into a lot of "Devs" that charge an insane amount of money for low quality work. We aren't interested in that so if the work you present us isn't very good ofc we aren't going to pay you.
