Hello McMarket! I am BlueeFiree, or Bluee, and I am an owner of Solar BT. As a team, we cycle through commission orders based on MCM. I’m looking to maintain a professional, small-medium sized build team with hard working members who care about customers and provide fantastic service in terms of quality and speed.


This will just act as a simple recruitment thread for our build team. If you’re a skilled builder looking to be in a group of great people, working in an efficient and organized environment, we encourage you to apply.


Here is some basic information before you go ahead and apply if you’re interested ~


Solar Build Team is led by BlueeFiree and managed/developed by xLucas. We’re the friendly and approachable founders of this team, and we welcome all those who choose to work with us!


What happens when accepted
If you are accepted after applying, you will not go straight to our official team, but through a 1 week trial. This trial is essentially meant to teach you the system of our team and help you get accustomed to any new or different functionalities. During trial, you will be given 1 or 2 assignments for us to get a sense of your skill and techniques. Trialists’ workspace will be slightly separate from official builders. During this trial, Lucas and I will be monitoring your activity, behavior, and work ethic to be sure that you’re fit for the team. This isn’t anything difficult, it is only an aspect of our system to be 100% sure we have quality members of Solar to work on commissions for the McMarket community.


Building Experience
The building experience is quite simple - you are assigned a commission whenever we receive an order and you’re a candidate to work on it. You will either work solo or with 1-3 others, depending on the commission size and/or time demand. This is the basis of what to expect when on the team, anything else is answered within trial.


Pay
During your trial, we look to add any of the builds you make in trial to our non-exclusive shop. However, once (or if) you become a full builder, you will begin to work on ordered commissions for 85% profit towards yourself or split with others on the same commission, as well as participating in creating non-exclusive content for our shop if you wish to as well!​

A few overall requirements:

- The ability to build in most, if not, all of these three areas: Structure, Organics, Terrain
- Experience using basic building plugins (WorldEdit, Voxelsniper, etc.)
- Access to Discord and Trello
- Friendly person who works diligently in a professional, organized environment
- Moderately active and available consistently
- A sense of maturity
- Cooperation

All reasoning is stated in the thread. The trial is more or less an introduction to the team where members will be initially exposed to our system and become accustomed to it. The workload is less in trial so they can focus more on figuring out the functionality and what works for them on our team. It also gives xLucas and I a little bit of time to observe our trialists to see what their building preferences are and how we can optimize them so that they have a nicer experience.

For your second question, we always love to see applicants coming in from different teams. However we do always ask for a portfolio link as most team recruitment does, and a proper filling out of the app. If we know an applicant personally, however, and/or we know they're fit for a position, we'll gladly bring them right in.
