Dear friend!

I'm Matej, the founder of MineAcademy.org and I have a question for you.

Imagine you could build anything in Minecraft you desire.

What would you do?

Unfortunately most people never achieve this. They get frustrated over the process and quit. The time you have to put it is insane if you're doing everything yourself, and at the end you still end up using different plugins that quite don't fit your needs.

Good news is - I've just released a new training of MineAcademy called Project Orion.

What Is Project Orion™?

Project Orion is the world's largest Minecraft training for building highly customized servers and coding own plugins from scratch.

It's for you if you want to:
  • #1 - Learn to code Minecraft plugins
  • #2 - Build highly customized Minecraft servers
  • #3 - Become self-reliant

That includes 8 weeks of pure value:
  • A complete class for Java, Bukkit, CraftBukkit, Spigot, PaperSpigot
  • A basic class on BungeeCord and connecting your server with your website
  • A marketing and selling class if you wish to become a paid developer or sell plugins

Here's what else you get:
  • 8 weeks course
  • Private member group and 2x weekly Q&A calls
  • Lifetime access
  • 30 days money back guarantee

Here's What's Inside

Week #1 - Create Like Never Before

This week you'll prepare yourself for coding and release your first Minecraft plugin in a never-before seen way. No "Main", no "JavaPlugin", no export and reloading, no "onCommand", nothing like you've seen before.

  • Download the latest most advanced software for coding.
  • What makes a top 0.5% programmer, success mindset, what to do when you get stuck, self-mastery, very cool stuff.
  • Configure IntelliJ and Eclipse to the absolute max of what they offer. Cut your development time to 1/100.
  • Includes a complete Java Masterclass if you never coded anything before or need to level up your skills.

Week #2 - Master Plugin Making (The Right Way)

This week you'll master it all. We leave no stone untouched and explain every major concept in high-level programming. Fast.

  • Focus on the best practices & highest coding standards and discover HOW things work (and WHY we do them).
  • Run any code on hundreds of events in Minecraft.
  • Create advanced plugin commands (without plugin.yml).
  • Setup a permissions system.
  • Schedule code to run later using runnables and timers (both async and sync).
  • Develop beautiful menus and user interfaces.
  • Settings and configuration. Auto updating magic. Totally unique system, no config.yml.
  • Server to player conversations. Listen for players input.

VMHMabJ.jpg

Week #3 - The Projects Vault

This week you'll go very deep on developing systems. Become a true master in taking full control over everything Minecraft has to offer. Take it and create something truly unique such as the perfect ranking/level-up system, custom monsters, custom items, dungeons. No limits.

Warning: This week is long. Some of the videos are over 2 hours long. This is the real deal. There's no lazy man's road to success. I have the privilege of doing this for 7 years. Downloading the knowledge into your brain won't happen over night. But, it's insanely faster than you doing it all yourself and you can get it done in weeks, or a few months, not years.

  • The KittyCannon Project: Shoot flying exploding cats to learn about custom items, explosions, particles and sounds. Fun stuff. Or shoot cows if you want to....
  • Custom monsters system. How to setup custom properties, drops, equipment, skills, PvP and fights, natural spawning and mob spawners, bloodmoon events.
  • Custom enchants. This is the real deal. The enchants we made cannot be distinguished from the vanilla. Add any effect you want, conquer anything.
  • Ranking and statistics system. Linear progression based on statistics such as top kills, deaths, playtime. Reward players by upgrading their rank, show their rank in the chat and more. Much more.
  • Class leveling system. Ranks too boring? Non-linear classes and tiers where players can have multiple classes each having different tier system. Now that's some next level stuff.
  • Missions and quests. Modular and non-linear missions system. Rankup players based on their mission completion, let them compete who completed the mission the fastest. Or offer secret and bonus missions. No limits.
  • Humanoid NPC's. Spawn them, use them, make them talk, make them walk, make them real and connect with your mission system.
  • Leaderboards. Top killers, kill to death ratio, playtime, deaths, mission completion, anything.

This week also includes:
  • Random teleport.
  • Infinite elytra.
  • Instant respawn.
  • Arrows breaking windows.
  • Fast food.
  • Custom health.
  • Interactive chat.
  • Scoreboards, tab, title, action bar, toast notifications.
  • Falling tree physics.

Week #4 - The Next Level

This week you'll demystify some of the most frustrating and advanced stuff in Minecraft.

  • NMS and OBF. Remove frustration and overwhelm. Stop getting stuck and dealing with errors, wasting time. You'll discover what NMS really is, how it works, what's the Safeguard in Bukkit and how to deal with it properly.
  • Packet interception. Packets are small boxes of information rapidly exchanged between what you - the client - and the server. Packets are the lowest level stuff, there's nothing below them. By having access to packets and knowing how to send, receive and edit them, there are no more limits. Big networks hire expensive developers to build custom packets solutions, you'll get it in a single video.
  • Pathfinding and AI. Modify the default behavior of Minecraft mobs. Make humanoid NPC walk to a certain location? Sure. What about a Zombie pet or a Cow attacking Chicken babies. Doesn't make sense, but you create the rules. It's your time.
  • Localization. Offer your server/plugin in multiple languages. Non English server? Let users translate everything into anything they desire.
  • MySQL. Store data on an external database. Synchronize them over to multiple servers or even your website. PHP script included as a bonus.
  • Reloading. How to reload plugins properly.
  • API. Create a developer API.
  • Decompilation. Read finished Java programs. Legally reverse engineer any Java code.
  • Obfuscation. Protect your code against intellectual property theft. Make it impossible for others to understand it and lower the risks of piracy.

fnVDJ0R.jpg

Week #5 - Beyond Minecraft

This week you'll dominate the Minecraft scene and transcending your skills beyond just Minecraft plugins.

  • Hooking into any libraries. Use anything (regardless if coded in Maven, Gradle or none) in your plugin and code.
  • BungeeCord. A crashcourse on how to use it and sync data with your Minecraft servers.
  • Discord. Hook into Discord and manage your Discord server from Minecraft. Check messages, ranks, remove them and take over control.
  • Vote rewards. Reward players who vote for your server. PHP script included to view votes from your MySQL database on your website.
  • GitHub. How to setup everything and collaborate with others or your dev team. Private and public repositories, for free.

Week #6 - Minigames Unleashed

This week you'll develop unique minigames combining everything the games has to offer.

Notice: This week is currently being prepared. The price of Project Orion goes up after it's finished, join us now to get a free update and lifetime access.

  • Why minigames. What makes them successful, what to watch out for, how Hypixel could become #1 and what you can learn from it.
  • Essentials of a game. Key components to every good minigame. Basic logic and models for arena, lobby, game, player mgt and more.
  • Objectives. Goals for players to complete during the arena play.
  • Waves. Times and phases to increase the difficulty of your minigame with time.
  • Monsters and environment. Add monsters and environmental stimuli to your arenas.
  • Rotation and automating. Build server-wide games or world-wide games that run automatically with 0 management. Like the big networks.

Week #7 - Sales And Money

This week you'll get your investment back 10X. Become a paid respected developer and sell your work.

  • How to earn from Minecraft. How to do what you love and get paid.
  • Premium resources. Sell Minecraft plugins. Get plugin ideas, find the right price, design the entire page and get paid when you sleep.
  • Copywriting, marketing and design. All you need to successfully sell what you do and convert strangers into paying customers.
  • Includes a complete guide to publishing plugins to SpigotMC and MCMarket.
  • Taxes and legal. Everything you need to know to avoid trouble later in life and get everything setup the right way. Most people run away from taxes, we explain them so it works regardless what country you're located in.
  • Piracy. How to deal with your software being leaked and the lessons we learned from selling for over 4 years.

Week #8 - Complete Server Setup

This week you'll create a flavored server of your choice. From scratch, built on the best practices to get you players and have fun.

You'll learn how to build a complete server of these kinds:
  • Vanilla RPG server. Enhanced vanilla with unique features. True survival experience you can't find anywhere else.
  • Factions server. Top ups, competitive factions, resets and mechanics.
  • Skyblock server. Complete server setup based on the world's famous Mineplex Skyblock gamemode.
  • Hub server. Create a server that links to all other servers on your BungeeCord.

Why Project Orion™?

Enrolling in Project Orion may be one of the biggest decisions you've made your entire life.

To support this claim here's things you learn and the results you get being a student in our training:

#1 A True Community Feeling

  • Build a place to play and an environment that makes players want to return to.
  • Create a friendly community with unique gameplay mechanics that most servers don't have.
  • Progress through a custom quest/skills trees and have a good and fresh survival experience to give players the next level experience they're looking for.

#2 Become A Well-Known Mature Server

  • By designing your server from the ground up you become well known in the professional communities and attract famous Youtubers/builders/developers to use your server to do their work.
  • Target a specific fandom - fans love seeing their favorite locations and arenas come to life - build the most accurate recreation of these universes and enliven them using custom plugin mechanics!

#3 Be Unique And Highly Customized
  • Code very innovative features that make players willing to stay.
  • Create a unique, fun environment that you can't find anywhere else.
  • Let everything be done by you and your group, from ideas to reality - no copy-paste or a poor man's clone (if you can't code properly).
  • Do your original concept instead of copying from others. Bring your personality on your server, something nobody can reproduce.

#4 Do More, With Less

  • Keep your server as clean as possible, best you can find in the genre while having custom plugins for special solutions. No longer 80 crappy plugins when you can make a single of your own, better and the way you want it to be.
  • Make an extremely efficient server by understanding how things work under the hood and eliminate all lags once for all.
  • Test plugins without /reload and exporting - save up to 300% more time by instantly seeing your code changes when you make them in your IDE!
  • Make a well-optimized custom plugin instead of the vast majority of basic ones. Implement the vast majority of functions with fewer plugins.

#5 Eliminate Overwhelm And Time Waste

  • Learn rapid development and testing if you're doing everything yourself to save weeks of your life time.
  • Eliminate confusion and overwhelm if you get stuck. Get proven processes to move forward and the help you need.
  • Stop wasting time with broken plugins, inactive plugin developers, Minecraft updates breaking stuff and wasting money on developers that are unreliable and just don't 'get you'.
  • Protect your server against hackers/trolls/weirdos/LQ-players and grow a mature friendly community.

How's This Better Than YouTube Or Udemy Tutorials?

#1 A Complete Solution From 0 To Hero

There's no complete solution on Earth guiding you through everything you need to know from the absolute basics to the very top.

We'll bring you from an absolute novice who never touched any computer code before, to an absolute beast who's in the top 0.02% programmers and can use everything Minecraft has to offer.

All in a step-by-step proven system with expert mentorship along the way.

Project Orion contains absolutely everything you need to succeed in Minecraft today, tomorrow, in the future and against any storm.

#2 Coding Standards First

The #1 problem with other courses or Youtube videos is that they suck. The coding standards are laughable and non-existent. "Instructors" are often kids who have no idea what they're doing and decided to shoot a quick video one afternoon because they've discovered a new feature in the code.

We have the privilege of doing this for over 7 years. The instructor, Matej, has personally been managing software receiving over 500,000 unique downloads and spent over 10,000 hours managing and improving his code.

You'll learn to make your code work today, next week, and in five years.

#3 Expert Mentoring On Demand

No matter how good is the training, you'll get questions.

Get experts to help you twice a week on Q&A calls or in our private group. Collaborate, meet friends, get help and win. We won't let you down.

Sometimes you just need that -one- thing to push you to the next level. We understand and are here for you when you need it.

#4 Lifetime Access

All members get lifetime access to the entire platform. There are no stupid up-sells, you won't need to buy any upgrades or anything.

Proof: Existing students of SpigotCourse (over 500) received a completely free upgrade to MineAcademy's training. Completely free of charge, for a lifetime.

#5 Proven Process. Accelerate Development Time, Remove Overwhelm and Never Start From 0 Again

We turned the unknown gray area of how to build a unique server into a precise science. While others use guesswork, we use a predictable process. Our plugins run on thousands of servers globally and never stop.

Finally, you'll learn using the Foundation library. This is the 'secret weapon' we use in all of our plugins.

Where traditional developers have to start from scratch, you'll save time and efforts and build using a proven system to focus on what you really want to achieve instead of building systems from scratch.

Frequent Questions

I can't afford it, is there anything you can do for me?
Yes, we can offer you a payment plan so that you can pay this off over time.

And if you can't afford a payment plan, I think you would agree that you need this program more than anyone. In fact, some of my most successful students have had their back against the wall financially when they started (as did I).

So I want you to eliminate the thought “I can't afford this” and instead replace it with “How can I afford this”.

You need to get creative and think of how you can find the money. There's PayPal financing, credit cards, loans, parents, friends, family, you could even sell something and use the money from that. Don't just use that excuse, get creative and start thinking of ways that you can make this work. With the payment plan we offer you can get started today for just $79. That's all the money you need to get started right now, today.

I'm busy - how much time do I have to put it?

Yes it will work for you, we understand that most people are very busy and have full time jobs, families, commutes and hardly any free time. We designed this program so that you can work through it even if you're hard pressed for time. You can listen to the training while travelling, on the bus or even at your job with headphones in.

It doesn't matter what your schedule is like, if you can set aside at least 3 hours per week you will be able to work your way through it.

Even if you can't start right away… reserve your spot and go at your own pace. These lessons aren't live, they're pre-recorded and available online inside our training portal. You can login whenever you want, on your own time and on your own schedule. If you're asking about the Q&A calls, those are live and, yes we record and archive all of them.

How long till I see results from this program?
So that totally depends on how quickly you work through the training program and how quickly you take action. Some people start coding plugins within the first week of joining the program, others work their way through slowly and it takes longer.

Do you have a guarantee?
Our training programs are proven by over 700 students and hundreds of testimonials. However, if you're still unsure about joining we offer a full 30-day money back guarantee, all we ask you is to complete a bit of the first weeks and if the program does not fit you, you will get your money back.

Our system works and as long as you are willing to do the bare minimum, you have absolutely zero risk.

So try the program, go through it and if you're not happy with it ask for a refund within 30-days and we'll refund you in full.

Why should I trust you? Is there proof that this works?

First... I've been in this niche for eight years, I've lived and breathed it every single day for those eight years and never deviated. Minecraft is my thing, it's my art form. The best way you can judge whether somebody is trustworthy and able to deliver is by their level of commitment to their customers and craft.

For one, I have absolutely mastered my field and got over 500,000 downloads with my products, not only that but I've been able to transfer my skills to hundreds of others and together over 1000 people have signed up for my past trainings.

You can go to our website, https://mineacademy.org/reviews and look for yourself, click Reviews and then just look at all the success stories we have. There's more than 700 reviews. Our average customer rating is 4.85 out of 5 stars. We have more satisfied students, more customers and more success stories than any other program available today. Not only that but I've invested over $10,000 of my own money into making the world's best training program for Minecraft. This is my life's work, my results are proven, my students results are proven. There's more proof for this than there is proof that the Earth is round.

The issue I see here is it's one thing to build a "unique server", but you don't seem to discuss the idea of actually growing it. Sadly custom servers that have little to no budget won't get anywhere and end up falling off. Your 'Spigot Course' from what I've heard is an absolute joke, and was insanely priced for what could merely be googled and used. I learnt the stuff your course explains, just by free youtube videos and being self taught.

You also seemingly fake the reviews for a project you just claimed to have released, seen here:
nZB3oWS.png

You show 5 stars, but its 4.85? Lastly, you don't even (from what I can see) show the price which worries me.

EDIT: So I managed to find the price after a ton of looking, how can you justify this being worth $600 for stuff that can be googled and researched?? No way on earth would you do a discount this large unless you're going for the "99% off sale" that some servers do.

Udemy lol, or do what I and many others did and use the free YouTube resources to learn. I started there, and I’m proud of how I’ve progressed.

I mean i dont really agree with the others saying this is overpriced (assuming the material is actually good) because its an 8 week long course and many people really need a structured learning experience.

What i dont like is this part

Shush, this it's the MineAcademy
ehhhhhh, Sure I'm somewhat interested in learning to code, as I'm sure others are as well, but I don't think a lot of people are ready to drop $200 on something like this.

You dont need any money to learn how to start programming

https://web.mit.edu/alexmv/6.037/sicp.pdf <<<< i started with this (its free now) then K&R 2nd edition (u can find for free but i wont link for obvious reasons)
Irony..

Majority of people who are starting out want to test the waters, they don’t want to pay out a huge amount. I personally find the course to be overkill, there’s plenty of free resources out there.

I'm strongly considering buying this since learning to code Java (not just minecraft stuff) has been on my bucket list for awhile now.
For everybody saying this is not worth the price tag of $200, I disagree. You aren't just getting a one time service, you are getting knowledge you can use for the rest of your life. For someone like me who learns much better in a well structured environment such as what he has created, I feel the price tag is worth it.

The thing is, you can learn for free using YouTube videos which do the same if not better.

I learnt using a Udemy course (basic java) and pushed my way through the rest. Starting out, putting $200 down is a big risk for something you may end up not liking.

Thank you everyone commenting on this thread. Here's your answers:

Your 'Spigot Course' from what I've heard is an absolute joke, and was insanely priced for what could merely be googled and used. Hello,

What do we teach?

#1 - In Project Orion, we teach how to build a highly customized server from head to toe even if you never coded anything before.

#2 - In Java Masterclass (free for students of Orion), we selected the important stuff about Java one needs to know to code high quality plugins with great coding standards.

#3 - Finally we teach how to scale and grow a network in our Black Nova program, and that course is currently being prepared.

What about SpigotCourse ?

SpigotCourse was a success beyond measure with over 550 students and over 1165 registered accounts. It helped people build their dream server, get more players and even get out of depression.

See, most of the negative feedback came from people who never invested in any online training before and did not purchase it.

The main claims for hateful feedback were, #1 the price, and #2 the fact that you *seemingly* can find these stuff online for free, at least that's what it seems to be.

There was also some people claiming the course is scam because I was using their non-popular software to teach (by the way, we now teach using both Eclipse and IntelliJ), or white color scheme, or even my country of origin. Those are ridiculous claims not worth of discussion.

Visit mineacademy.org/reviews to see all reviews.

#1 - Is this overpriced?

I understand the price tag may be uncommon in the Minecraft space however, that is why no-one is doing it at this level. There are costs associated to run an education platform and I am no longer living with my parents and doing things few afternoons after getting back from school. There's nothing wrong with helping people but it cannot be done for free in our society in a sustainable way, that's why most hobby-developers are quitting. People need to understand this.

Considering you get twice per week live Q&A mentoring calls, private community access as well as lifetime access (see, SpigotCourse students paid $59-97 and got their upgrade for free, saving hundreds of dollars), all of this makes the offer a steal.

Sure you can find all the materials and resources to build an iPhone for free, but are you really going to waste years on research and development trying to shape the materials and put them well together?

There's a 30 days refund guarantee. No risk. Try it and if you don't like it, you'll get your investment back.

Why don't you show the price?

Because we don't want this to become about the price.

People see the price and get scared, it may be their biggest investment they've ever made. By showing the price later we enable people to focus on what's on the page, the content of the course, the program, the benefits, and they can make a better, less emotional driven decision.

We also completely stopped doing stupid countdowns and random discounts. The price is now fixed and will never change, it will only go up once, once we reach enough students.

Lastly there's a technical aspect to why we don't show the price - we'll be offering free trials soon. To inform people about this feature, we want people to put in their email address before they see the price. That way even if they don't buy we can still send them an email broadcast (unsubscribe with 1 click) once the free trials are opened so they can try out the courses for free.

#2 - You can get the same knowledge for free! Just watch YouTube, read articles and grind yourself to death!

I've tried that and yeah, it costed me 7 years. Good luck with that.

See, when I started, there were no courses like this, and I had to learn everything from numerous sources out there. Soon I discovered how painfully slow and frustrating it was. Most people dreaming about their server 2.0 never make it and new people that find about Minecraft soon leave and play Fortnite. And then we have our Minecraft in decline. That's why I decided to change this.

The problem with free YouTube tutorials, Udemy courses or articles is that they are painfully chaotic, disorganized, out-dated, unsupported and offer low coding standards with explanations worth of a fifth grader.

What we do differently is we offer a proven system, detailed and high-quality content, expert mentorship and The Foundation library. There's step-by-step process you follow, get help when needed and get results, everything is organized and updated regularly.

Next, in all of my paid products I use the Foundation library to remove repetitive code. People waste weeks coding from scratch and never really get to their ideas since they waste so much time on the basics that it's driving me insane. That's why I decided to take out that library, battle-proven and tested in all premium plugins since 2015, and teach using it.

Finally I'm a huge believer in self-development and self-mastery, and will show you how to get organized, disciplined and achieve greater results in the arenas of life you'll set for yourself. There are honestly no courses in Minecraft let alone in computer programming with an empathy on self-mastery.

And you and I know that once you get stuck, frustrated or simply life happens it's not just about coding... After speaking with lots of students I included self-mastery and self-development parts in our new courses.

To wrap up, once we open free trials you can do your own diligence and compare our training with them and you'll see the difference.

Are the reviews fake?

No reviews were faked, ever, this would absolutely ruin my reputation and I am not going to tolerate this.

Minecraft has been my heart's passion since 2011 and ChatControl rolled out two years after that. Should be a common sense that violating the rules would get me wiped out of SpigotMC before long, and I've been there daily for over 6 years now.

Now, we did connect all of our ratings into a singular piece. Why? Because I never had proper team (until now), and 95% of all software was built by me personally. That's why I decided to view all ratings that people wrote over the time for the project and all of its subsidiaries.

You can of course read each review and discover what product is is related to, and soon we'll be upgrading the technical aspect of our site to include a sorting functionality so that you can only view reviews related to Project Orion and further products.

Here's what a customer of mine wrote into our private group:

1tJMTQW.png

Hope this post explains a lot. Let me know if you got any further questions and I am happy to discuss that, just remember to keep this discussion civil and use proper arguments and back it up.

In closing, I respect your opinions and this is an open forum, but we'll report any posts violating the MCMarket Rules and Guidelines.

Thank you everyone commenting on this thread. Here's your answers:

Hope this post explains a lot. Let me know if you got any further questions and I am happy to discuss that, just remember to keep this discussion civil and use proper arguments and back it up.

In closing, I respect your opinions and this is an open forum, but we'll report any posts violating the MCMarket Rules and Guidelines.

Our training programs are proved by over 700 testimonials. However, if you're still unsure about joining we offer a full 30-day money back guarantee.

Try the program risk free and if you're not happy with it ask for a refund within 30-days and we'll refund you in full.

I disagree. You can't devalue the course because you can search a lot of it up on YouTube or Google, it's more about him compiling all the different lessons and providing small resources.

Vouch, I would recommend buying. I bought spigotcourse last year and combined it with knowledge I already knew to help me deepen my knowledge of plugin development.

I'm currently learning spigot coming from a lot of experience in python and java. All you have to do is follow a playlist of tutorials on youtube, why the hell would anyone buy this?
