First off, in the 10+ years I have been in this line of work, you are by far the worst freelancer I have ever dealt with. You were incredibly rude to multiple people including the client, the system administrator, and both directors of our company. This is a service team where you take on commissions and quote for the entire project. It's actually crazy that you wanted to charge the client for you to fix bugs on your own code.I strongly advise against it. This company is not only blatantly biased, but they also refuse to pay for completed work—I am still owed $613 for two weeks of labor. They expect developers to handle testing for free, while their client constantly delays the process and derails progress.
Worse, they resort to intimidation tactics when confronted. Their client is unprofessional, immature, and shockingly incompetent—I had to explain basic tools like Visual Studio Code and GitHub to them.
This has gone far enough. I will be contacting my lawyer and initiating legal action against Rollerite. Anyone considering working with them: think twice—you’ve been warned.

First, let’s be clear: I was hired as a freelance developer to build a custom website — a full-stack job quoted and delivered as requested. I worked in good faith, without a formal contract, and expected standard professional treatment and timely payment for my labor. That never happened.
Let me address the claims directly:
1. “Rude to multiple people”
Disagreement over work delivery or standing up for fair compensation is not "rudeness." I maintained professional communication until it became clear I was being stonewalled, talked down to, and denied payment. I raised legitimate concerns when:
- The client continuously delayed testing.
- Bugs weren’t documented, only vaguely mentioned — causing unnecessary rework.
- Basic tech concepts had to be explained (Visual Studio Code, GitHub), and I was mocked or dismissed when pointing out inefficiencies.
Standing firm in the face of disorganization and disrespect is not being “rude” — it's being professional.
2. “Charging to fix your own code”
Let’s clarify: I quoted for a finished website, which I delivered. If the client changes specs mid-project or introduces delays for testing, that’s on them, not the developer. What you’re calling “bugs” were in many cases feature changes or misunderstandings due to lack of documentation or clarity on your end.
Also — any developer knows that post-delivery testing and support is either scoped into the project explicitly or billed separately. You expected that work for free.
3. “Threatening to sue or report”
I was owed $613 for two weeks of completed work, and after multiple ignored messages, broken promises, and public disrespect, I stated I would pursue legal options and resale of the project to recover lost income. That is not a threat — it’s my legal right as a freelance worker unpaid for services rendered. I never "threatened to dox" anyone — that is a serious and false allegation.
4. “Using AI is crazy work”
This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of modern development. AI tools are used across the industry to streamline routine tasks — not replace human work. Every single line of code was reviewed, tested, and written within the agreed scope, regardless of whether I used assistance for layout, templating, or design.
5. “You failed to act professionally”
What I did was:
- Deliver the working project despite multiple blockers.
- Try to enforce clear communication.
- Ask for compensation that was promised.
What you did was:
- Delay feedback repeatedly.
- Expect additional labor (testing, debugging, scope changes) for free.
- Smear me when I asked to be paid fairly.
