1.7/1.8 or 1.9+ ?

Hello everyone, Me and my best friend had a war today he said that 1.13 is better than even 1.8. He also said that mojang will delete both 1.7 and 1.8 xd. What do you guys think?

My opinion is that if mojang was deleting 1.7 and 1.8 every pvp server will close.

1.8.8 is best. If they were going to remove 1.7 or 1.8 they would have already. You're able to use any mc version you want. You could make your server 1.6 if you wanted to. I think 1.8.8 is best though.

Personally love 1.7 just because of the pvp and Mojang will never shut down 1.8 - think about how many players they'd lose if they did.

1.8.8 is my favorite by far, but 1.7.10 is also great. Also, about Mojang "deleting 1.7 and 1.8", that 100% isn't happening. Doesn't make sense and there's no reason to "delete" them.
