$1000 offer for 40 playerbase server

Your budget is probably too low to receive a server with a 40 playerbase, I agree totally with Tyler once players realize there has been a change in ownership they all of a sudden start to leave. You can get a server setup ad advertisement and sustain around a 40 playerbase for well under your $1000 budget.

Or you could make your own server for much, much less (Around $250 or less unless you want custom plugins) and easily get a playerbase of 100+ instead of paying $1,000 for a server with a playerbase of 40.

Do you realize that in most cases once players realize the server was sold, they usually leave and stop playing. Don't waste your money on a palyerbase because you are lazy, just make a server yourself or buy a setup and do advertising you will have a better chance at getting a playerbase to stay.
