This is a Minigame map with a variety of different levels, each with its only little challenge that tests out various a player's various abilities in Minecraft such as parkour, navigation and the like. It is the perfect minigame to tac onto an existing Survival, SkyBlock or even Faction world. It give player's a different and easygoing playstyle to dive into.
OverView
The Trials is composed of 7 different levels, each being something different. Players start at the bottom of the map and need to complete each level's objective in order to pass to the next level.
Level 1 - Apocalypse

The Apocalypse level is set in a ruined city in the mountains and the aim of this level is to escape the area by finding the exit. Players spawn at 0,0 where they must press a button to open the door somewhere on the map. The door to the exit will stay open for around 2 minutes, indicated by the lamps at the spawn, after which the door will close, making the player have to come back to the spawn to reopen the door by pressing the button.
The map has a variety of areas including a thick tree park, a construction area, a train yard, a hospital and a city area, complete with toppled buildings...the whole place been overgrown and forgotten. The whole map is around 200x200 blocks long and wide and is a circle.
The whole time players are looking for the exit they will have to work hard to avoid monsters of all sorts as they stumble through the wreckage of the place. Once the player finds the door and goes through, they will have the option to exit The Trials or continue on to the next level.
Level 2 - Maze Runner

The Maze Runner is just as is sounds - a very long and winding maze built specially to counter the standard ways of navigating a maze. If twists and folds and loops back in on itself in a very clever attempt to confuse players.
A player spawns in the center of the maze and must pick one of four directions to start of in. They must then jump in the hole in that direction after which they will be further prompted to pick of of four new directions, making for a total of 16 possible entry points into the maze. The must then navigate the long twists and turns of the maze, trying to find their way to one of the exits to the next level.
There are three exits from this maze, spaces evenly across the map. Each exit has its own puzzle of challenge in order to open the exit.
Level 3 - Question Box

The Question Box level is a series of rooms that poses Minecraft trivial questions at the player, which they need to answer correctly to be able to pass to the next box. There are 8 total boxes. Any wrong answers will disable the right answer button as well as summon monsters which the player will have to fight. After they do defeat the monsters they must try again to get the right button. Once a player reaches box 5 every time they advance forward there will be a timer that ticks down for them to answer the question after which they automatically fail the question that the monsters are summoned. Failures spawn worse monsters as you progress. Once you successfully answer question 8 you are teleported to a room where you may choose to leave or continue.
Level 4 -Parkour

The parkour area is a long path, winding through various scenic area, such as a city,a desert, a river valley, an active volcano and the like. There are spaces for checkpoints scattered throughout the map. Players must successfully parkour through this level in order to advance to the next level.
Level 5 - Button Box

Button Box is another maze but one that is styled to have an infinity feel around it. This level is split into three parts. As a player advances in the level will work harder to confuse the player more and more, maybe to the point where they go insane. Players must successfully navigate all three parts to advance.
(I will not go into big detail about this level as doing so will unravel the truth about how this level works and so give it that "Less than infinity" feel.)
Level 6 - Find the button

Find the button is a classic Minecraft minigame where the players must find buttons hidden around the level that takes them to the next area. The buttons are hidden better as you go on through the level. The last button in the last room will teleport that player to the last level.
Level 7- Battle Arena

The battle arena is an elective area where players who finish the trials, go to battle, either each other (for the loot that they acquired during The Trials) or mobs as a Mob Arena. It was originally designed as a mob arena and I used Mythic Mobs to create custom mobs for the arena. After the battle here is finished players are exited from the world.
Finishing up
I built this map over the course of a few months for my server in its last season. And as its quite an awesome little game I am selling copies of it here. Consider buying a copy for your server as it helps me out a lot.
