No, I mean by that is I don't want to ruin the relationship. Yes, I want to date her, but not ruin it for them.

Just talk to her what you would normally talk to her about. Just in case it gets awkward, which it probably will for the first bit of it, develop a reason or an excuse to talk to her. For example, ask her for help on some of your homework or just talk about something that you guys are both interested in.

Don't try swaying a girl who is with another guy right now.

1. It'll put her in a conflicting situation / should make you feel bad for causing it.

Okay heres my perception of girls: There are very few kind-hearted girls with good intentions, especially inside of middleschool, and a lot of high school. If you really do like this girl, be yourself. In reality, if you aren't yourself and a girl likes you because of that, then you can't be yourself for as long as you are together. If she's herself around you and you're yourself around her, and you guys love each-other for that, great! If it doesn't work out, or she can't accept you for who you are, then she doesn't matter, and will not help you in the long run. In terms of my tips on making her laugh etc., still be yourself. I have friends who go over the top to get to girls, and it hardly ever works.

I don't mean to sound cheesy here, but imo, its more important to be in a relationship where nothing is forced, even if that means going slow, or not ever being together.

Anyways, its your life, and your emotions, these are just my tips for how to deal with this stuff.

You don't wanna ruin their relationship, but you wanna date a girl who 1) you rarely communicate with, and 2) has been in a relationship for over a year. He's obviously doing something right, as most high school relationships last less than 3 months. On top of that, as mentioned before, if she's the type of person to just drop a year+ relationship for another guy, why would you want to be with her..? There's gonna be another guy just like you who tries the same thing and the cycle will continue. If you REALLY want to attempt to date her, just focus on being her friend first. If they break up a year from now and you two barely know each other, I highly doubt she'll just instantly want you, and will probably end up dating someone she knows. I would just suggest you move on and/or focus on more important things at the age you're at. Gl
