A "guide" on (almost) every anticheat

Spartan has been constantly updating for over 4 years now and is it desperate need of a re-write or something new.




Funny how I've helped 5 people so far in this thread alone and all I did was copy and paste the exact same thing from spigot with a few changes. Also I have tons of time because of covid so why not use it helping the same community that has helped me from day 1.

So what I'm getting is that if someone has something negative about your anti-cheat it's an opinion but if someone says something positive it's a review? Makes sense.

Unless you can provide proof your anticheat deserves higher, the review stands.

Here’s an issue. How come, despite me not mentioning the review of my own anticheat, do you come to such conclusion? Had I been just focused on that, I would disclose it, but that’s not where I stand. Everything in this list isn’t properly reviewed. It’s all just wrong to it’s core. You’re making reviews based on what you hear or see, not what you personally test. I see that as you failing to provide a proper review. Spartan is clunky and causes more issues then it solves. The default config causes so many issues with both server and player lag. Besides there are tons of falses being fixed with every update. Sure they may be in certain situations but a false is a false. Every anticheat has falses but not to the extent that AAC and Spartan have. Both of them are known to sometimes be a bit too aggressive and still manage to have bypasses even in older clients which Evan himself said that the age of a client doesnt matter when in fact it does. If someone strolls on in with a 2 year old fly bypass what are his customers gonna think? I have sent him about 10 bypasses on older clients and he still hasnt gone around to fixing them after 2 weeks. You might think that "hey what if he's busy" but 2 weeks is a bit excessive to fix an old yport, and 2 fast ladders at the very least.

The reason we bother replying is because we know this thread is still based mostly on opinion. OP should create a rubric and rerank these anticheats in a more objective manner.

The reason I dont use a rubric is because an anticheat can easily be made to block what's on your rubric while I rely on finding bypasses myself. I didnt use that much opinion since for most anticheats and I usually have video proof of bypassing them or getting blocked by them. Most of my opinion stems from the price tag as if an anticheat costs a good chunk of change I would expect it to perform to my expectations. That's mostly where Ghast fell short and why Vulcan was so high. You get a good deal for $15.

No hate to Ghast but indeed his anticheat called Artemis is not good at all right now. But that does not mean it won't be good and that you have attack him on that every time he gives his own opinion about something not related go his own Anticheat.. I know Ghast is working extremely hard on improving his Anticheat right now and I am pretty sure it is way better already! He just didnt release it yet because of some bugs he'll need to solve befroe he releases it. Just don't attack him for his own project while he is giving his opnion about something else lmao it just shows you can't argue "good".

idk man I also got a fly that wasnt a hover fly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also it was the default config. I also made that video because of this as it showcased aura on Sensation while as you can see in the video I was able to go quite blatant while barely being detected. Also key word "most."

Sure he may be working hard but he shouldnt be selling a $160 anticheat that cant detect anything. Nor should he be advertising it when it isnt finished.

To end this off: Not every server can run the same Anti-Cheat. Some require a different Anti-Cheat that may be “Worse”, but support whatever they may be running. It all comes down to compatibility and support rather than detections.

Thirdly it's impossible to test all of these on a live environment as most people dont want to waste their time just hacking/ fighting others to fine falses and bypasses.

Fourthly I agree that not all servers can run the same anticheat with the exact same results but this is not meant to be for every server and is only a baseline for pretty much every anticheat I can find that's updated.

And I know people would love to test for false positives and bypasses. I know this market probably than anyone. You obviously don’t.

I've had interactions with both JI and Verus. Overall JI was laggy, bad at detecting anything. I was able to BHop and user timer on 3x with almost no issues. Verus, while being the best public anticheat at the moment is still decent but has slow support and not doesn't catch all reach by ghost clients.

2. This is clearly on my test server for an update I'm working on. Had you have looked even a microsecond on my discord server you'd have noticed the announcements; Your ignorance is at fault here.
3. Beta has a meaning. Look it up.

Reflex, worst purchase ever. I bought when it was in beta because I found the machine learning feature amazing and there’s no ML involved and it’s all a placebo with hardcode and other useless classes. Other than that, great thread.[DOUBLEPOST=1603952455][/DOUBLEPOST]also also, Ghast isn’t a experienced developer, he bought source for a few plugins and started learning from there. He can deny if he wants, we go way back and I have screenshots. Despite that, he’s still trying to become experienced and I commend him on basically independently creating an AC which is hard as fuck.

I've never hidden nor lied about buying sources and resell rights; I don't have time to create everything myself. However to state I'm not experienced in the field is quite appalling. I've spent a considerate amount of time making a variety of different types of softwares in Java. Most of them have never met the public eye. I'd appreciate if you'd look over my github (https://github.com/terminalsin) to see for yourself the change over time.

Still can't believe that this debate is actively going. In all seriousness, there have been & always will be flaws in any anti-cheat you find on the market, whether you believe it or not. As for the claims; Ghast is actively trying to improve his anti-cheat & you biasing an opinion on one of his older versions is just dumb. Of course, I will not partake in this, just wanted to state my personal opinion. Cheers!

Sure there will always be flaws but 4 fly bypasses is inexcusable. Especially when the fly bypasses are one the easiest thing to patch by far.
