A new rule to mcm

So, I have noticed that a lot of people are creating skype accounts and impersonate to reputable users on mcm.

So to prevent scams, I thought about a new rule that can be added to mcm.
The rule says: "McM / McM's community will not be responsible for any scam made without a proof that the person you made the deal with is realy him and not an other person with a fake skype account"

you may fix my lame english, but you got my point.

I think that this is another way to prevent scams and to prevent false bans

PM is annoying, you need to refresh everytime you send a message, and most of the people doesnt have the time for that

Well, mcm staff can't verify the skype is an impersonator as it is impossible and easily forged. PMs don't take long, you don't have to do full deal through it just documenting the user agreeing etc.

so exaplain me, why do people still using skype to do transaction? bcz clicking f5 and hopefully get an answer is VERY annoying

They dont need to verify, if you got scammed, and didnt make sure that the user is realy him on mcm, your scam report supposed to be useless

It's obviously something MC-Market is not responsible for. It's like saying the US Government isn't responsible if your wallet gets stolen, it's yours for not being careful. You get the point.

When you get a pm, an alert appears in the title of the website. That's when you know when to refresh

You can use PM, idc.
Most of the people are using skype and prefers skype for a lot more reasons.
It is just another way to prevent scams and false bans.
Why do you find the bad things all time?? this is a GREAT idea.
I dont want that people will impersonate to me, scam someone, then I get punished. NO I DONT WANT THAT!

Why should mcm be responsible for someone scamming in any situation? Doesn't make sense. If I had to add one new rule it would probably be something along the lines of getting people in trouble for giving you bad reactions on unrelated threads because you disagreed with their post on this thread. Seriously, did anyone else here get a bunch of funny ratings the second after disagreeing with one of this guy's posts?

First off, saying this needs to be a rule means they currently are responsible since it isn't a "rule" right now. Secondly, it says mcm will be responsible as long as you have proof of who scammed you.

Yeah, it was a pretty bad idea, but don't quit. That makes me sad to hear you say that. Even if you have thousands of terrible ideas eventually one might be good and that one is worth it. Realizing the terrible ones are terrible is the first step in coming up with better ideas that actually make sense. Don't get discouraged. Anyway, good luck to you and your future ideas and remember that success comes in never giving up.
