Abortion Should Be Illegal

Oh boy, there are 11 pages...
Welp, here is my opinion: I believe that abortions should be legal and recommended in some situations.
Point #1
I do think that both the man and woman should be required to consent to an abortion. Most people says that "it should be the woman's choice" but I see a major problem with that. The woman may not want the abortion and the man (in most cases) ends up paying for a child that was "an accident". Let's say the woman agrees to keep the baby and the man doesn't want and or can't afford the child, this just puts the child at risk of being put into an orphanage or taken away by social services.

Right now (in my opinion) the earth is overpopulated. And making abortions illegal will only just make it worse.

If a woman is raped and is pregnant with the rapist's child, that's just terrible for the woman and the child. The woman raises a child that will forever remind her of the man that once raped her. And the child grows up without a father around (assuming that the rapist is in jail). This situation is not the case for every rape victim, but this is my view on it.
The only reason I would support abortions being illegal is to promote protected sex. Making it illegal would make it an insensitive knowing you would be stuck with a child, especially for younger people.
I might have some more points, but this is all I could think of. These are just my opinions. If you disagree, great, you are entitled to that opinion, as am I.

This is like the million'th time this is mentioned, a law dosent have to be a binary choice of its always illegal or always legal, there can be exceptions for special circumstances like rape/inbreeding/it would kill the mother
Oh wow look, another easy to debunk argument.
1. All life has value, where do you draw the line? Someone has a birth defect? Ah let's just kill them.
2. Kill the rapist not the child.
3. This is the only time I think abortion is acceptable. Although it usually occurs really early in the pregnancy, as there are no known complications that would require and abortion later in the pregnancy. Children can survive very early out of the womb now.

2. You fail to notice that, it wasn't the womens choice to be raped. Is it fair she has to bear the baby? By that logic men can just go out and rape all women, and the women would have to keep their child. Leading to child neglect etc.

Abortions shouldn't be allowed unless the mother didn't consent to the sexual activity that led to the pregnancy.
Everyone who says junk like "what if the baby is ugly". Boi, everyone is ugly in some shape or form so shut up.
Everyone deserves a chance to live, think if you were a baby about to be born, you wouldn't want to die, would you? (no im not talkin to yall suicidal people)
Just use common sense yall, unless the baby did something terrible they shouldn't die.
It's a natural right to live, let's not take it away from babies who haven't even seen sunlight yet.

2. No it's not fair. But life isn't fair. Don't punish the innocent child, punish the rapist.
In the US, If someone shoots/murders a pregnant woman, they are charged with a double homicide. (I don't feel like reading through the opinions of 14 year-olds that have watched Steven Crowder once and think they are the masters of knowledge. Just figured I'd drop that fact in here for people who wanna use it in an argument.)
My guy - Rape is a crime. If they are able to, they will be punished and prosecuted. It's not like there's an exception for rapists.

It isn't her decision. You don't get to murder a child because you don't want it. Sorry buddy, there are limits.
First off, I'm not placing a stance on the issue, I just figured I'd drop some facts on people who bother to reply. Second, I don't really care what your stance is, but you were making it seem like in pro-life theoretic laws, the fetus is punished but the criminal isn't.
The pro-life argument isn't the direct rights over women, it would be the same if men could be pregnant; the argument is about regarding abortion as murder.
