So I just realized that the 'Free' prefix is no longer in Setup's section and I don't understand why. I am requesting it be added back. I have it on one of my thread's since it was an old thread but I went to go change the title and decided not to change it since the 'Free' prefix was still on it.

Please add the 'Free' prefix back to the Setup's section.

adios and cheers fyi

Ah, ‘free’. The prefix dedicated to reputation farming.

But yeah, no reason for it to be removed.

Regarding this and other "prefix" related suggestions.

After waiting a year Mick finally started to do something, this is his statement:
"...am working on plans for redoing prefixes for all categories in the next announcement."

Let's hope he will keep the promise...

There have been multiple suggestion threads for this; let me quote one of my responses to them:
Do free tags represent people offering free products? Or people looking for free products? (How is this enforced? It's not. Disorganization)
I would prefer we remove large tags entirely and instead introduce advanced filtering capabilities similar to ebay, which makes searching for threads relevant to what you're looking for extremely easy. With the filter options built straight into the forum list, and thread creation requiring the input of basic data, such as price and whether it's being offered or requested.

Instead of adding prefixes which can lead to counterintuitive navigation (e.g. having a free service, should you put that under "free" or "offering"?), we will be implementing a filtering system soon.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
