Add funny ratings back.

It's honestly people's fault to mix it with "Rep" because they should know it isn't. I lost 1k ratings, but not because I think I have less "Rep" now but because I liked having 5k ratings, it was like an accomplishment to me, now Mick removed them without even asking which was not fair, + if you're going to do such thing because of the "Rep" confussion then get a reputation system instead of simply removing funny ratings and fucking half of the community. People use the funny rating to piss other people off. They can and will still do that. The only difference is now the victim won't gain anything positive from the situation. This is just a lazy attempt at fixing the reputation system, and it helps no one.

Exactly what I think, thanks Monty. For the people in here that are affected by what other's say, well now it will be worse, since before you could answer "Well you're giving me free ratings" now you can't

Honestly I could care less if we have the funny rating because it's not reputation. However I agree with Skill because people in the community do see their ratings as an accomplishment and taking part of it away is kinda unfair.

The problem is for trolls like UltimatelyElite, who get upvoted for funny so much that newer users not as familiar with the system view him as a trusted user.

If a newer user wants to trust someone based on ratings alone, let them. If they get scammed because they didn't feel like looking through the seller's post history, that's their own fault. This does not help anything, anyway. They removed funny ratings from the count, but what about the other ratings that have nothing to do with trust? Does having optimistic, heart, informative, useful, creative, or agree ratings determine how trusted someone is? Why don't they just remove every rating but the vouch rating then? And at that point, why not just make regular ratings separate from vouch ratings?

I agree. Why not add the vouch rating back, and then take away all the other ratings. This is so new members can trust the rating system. Also, Mick, please talk to the mc-market community before you add changes like this.

I don't think ratings should be removed completely because they do serve the purpose of showing users how active someone is on the site, but I do think there should be a vouch rating displayed separately under the regular ratings. That would be the easiest way to solve the reputation problems.
