Hello MC-Market,

I am making this thread due to a situation I have witnessed. After seeing walman1123 's thread on advertising on .org or server-list, I contacted him to see if there was something that we could do to help each other. However, towards the end of the conversation, he mentioned a seemingly "effective" way of free advertising, and pointed out that he hit 78 players with a normally 5 daily playerbase instantly. The pictures here can really explain the rest:

I removed my alt account name to prevent trouble, but you get the point. So my question is simply is this ok to continue daily, as he is now?

Note: The link in the Skype chat he sent me was simply of a screenshot of his server's playercount.

Well everyone actually i have been doing this for a very long time. Give me all the hate you want but i personally couldnt care less. Its a doggy dog world out there and i will do whatever it takes to get players. My strategy is luring the players in, then giving them motiviation to continue playing on my server. Some of you may think that this is stupid and doesnt work but it does. I do not expect 1000's of players to come and play but i do gain 1 - 10 players per advertisement session. From all the donations i have recieved from these players too i plan to purchase my own minecraftservers.org advertisment or minecraft-mp, i have not decided yet. If you wish to hate on me more, my skype is walman1123 and i would love to hear it.
Wait do u own uwrs?

The creator of this thread is now threatening to ddos me............ Thoughts on that?

I would simply like to note that this was in retaliation to a threat he made towards me when the thread was created. It is not a lie, however.

My alt list took a big hit recently when Microsoft removed all those public alt but i am still standing about 90 accounts strong whos sole purpose is to advertise. :)

And am I the only one who finds this strikingly absurd?
