I'll need to get some more money.
Right now we're looking at:
I'll work up a bit of money, and I know I won't get the exact items but the plants have sparked some interest and will make my aquarium that more awesome. Is there any way I can get more than 1 betta? I was hoping to have around 2-3 of those or maybe a mix of like 1 betta, or 2 medium-sized goldish with the tank you told me to get. Also is cycling the tank a 1-time thing? It doesn't sound too fun.
- Fluval Spec
- $80
- Fish (and snails)
- Probably around $30 bucks
- Root Tabs
- I'll probably need around 1 or 2 so $16
- Sand
- No idea, guessing around $12
- Plants
- $3-5?
Bearer of bad news time:
Ok so Cycling the tank is a one time thing unless you crash it.
Bettas will kill each other. If you really want, lookup Neon Tetras. You can fit 3 of those in there with the betta (tight fit tho)
Plants:
~$25+
Spec:
~$80
Fish:
~$35-45
Root Tabs:
Substrate (Sand):
(not exactly sand but this will do really well)
Fertilizer for Plants:
Other Chemicals you will want:

Goldfish will NOT survive in anything but a 30 Gallon or higher. You can only keep goldfish in the tank too.
Goldfish will KILL any fish with their waste as they output a TON of waste.

This is a test kit. You need it.
Cycling a tank takes time.

I recommend this stuff to go along with the sponge in the Fluval. It does an AMAZING job. Everyone uses it. It will keep your water crystal clear.[DOUBLEPOST=1529986567][/DOUBLEPOST]
Lmao just reading this and saw your aquarium. I used to have one like yours but you mounted it on the wall. I had like 10 fish and they all died when the aerator stopped working
Rip Goldie, Cory, and that one shrimp I put in there idk why. Those were my favorite xD
Its funny because the aerator doesnt add air to the water as much as it moves the top of the water around for gas exchange.
I dont use one because I want my tank free of equipment. I use a powerhead pointed to the top of the water. Works perfectly. I also Inject Co2 into the tank so it doesnt mess with Co2 gas exchange much.
