Hello guys! It's FCONTAIFER here, and I am looking for your guys' help! I am in need of a new hosting company as my server has been experiencing some lag. I would like to ask you guys about which server do you think I can get the most bang for my buck! I ask that you please only post on here if you have had real experience with hosts and can truly vouch for them. This is not a post for you to advertise your hosting company of your friend's hosting company. Please, do not waste my time, or even others who may use this thread for advice as well. Please provide an experience along with an advice of which server host to use. Currently I use Fluctis, and pay $4 for 2GB per month. My budget is around $5 per month! Thank you so much for reading and thanks for helping me out!

I do know of a good host, but they are a little over your budget.
GigabyteHosting

There best plan which is 8 GB is ABOUT 20 USD;
The second worst plan, is about 5 USD for 2 GB

I do have experience with them, my server is currently hosted by them.
Pros:
  • They are Lag Free
  • Cheap Prices
There is more just not great at listing pros & cons.

Cons:
Can' think of any, to be honest.

IMO, you aren't going to get a cheap server with no lag. You need to invest more money if you don't want any lag.

Hey buddy, I'm not a representing any company. But I would honestly pick ServerWorld. I've used them for 3 weeks now, and all I can say it, they have a wide arrange of locations and I've never, not even lying had any lag on their services. I'm in the Kansas city location, they got a sale currently. And the servers are extremely cheap anyway, check out https//:serverworld.co

Hello,

I know you said not to advertise, however would would be happy to set you up with a test server at no cost for you to make a decision on whether or not you would like to purchase a server from us :)
You can find reviews and vouches from our clients here: http://www.mc-market.org/threads/22728/

If you do decide to purchase from us, we can do 2GB RAM for $5/month.

Shoot us a PM if you're interested :)

Vouch for Clovux, I have them for like 1 month and a few days now and haven't had a single problem so far, their support is amazing and the quality of their servers is just BAE. I would honestly go with them, they are the best IMO.

https://tigernode.com  I seriously don't think you'll have any issue with lag here. Our machines are carefully monitored to prevent overselling and maximize performance. We have a 3 day money back guarantee so if it doesn't work out you can just claim a full refund - though I'm confident that won't be necessary.

Are a majority of the people posting on this thread, ignorant, dyslexic, or completely disrespectful of the OP's requests? He doesn't want you to advertise your OWN hosting company. He's looking for regular users with their experiences of hosting companies they have purchased from. Get off of the thread DylanH Clovux Mango

Thank you guys for all your input! Thank you for those that did not advertise their own hosting companies! I would be willing to pay a bit more for a host if I can get a guarantee of NO LAG what so ever.

Have you had players on your server, if so, how many at a time? Or is it just you working on the server?

How big is your server? How many people are on it at a time?

Also another question I had is: Does the GB have any impact on the lag, like if you buy more GBs, do you get less lag, or how does that work? Thank you guys!!!

Yes but not always. Running 50 plugins and 10 worlds on 1GB will cause issues, however sometimes it's simply a poorly written plugin or massive redstone build bogging down the server. It's always best to run spigot timings when you're experiencing lag. If you don't know how to read it, ask your host - they had better be able to haha.

I am not here to represent any hosting company in any way. I am here to talk about my experiences with AnvilNode and how you may come to use it too.

Over my time with AnvilNode, I have purchased multiple servers on multiple nodes and each seemed to perform very well. I have never had TPS lower than a high 19, and when it came to large worldedits, the server performed very well under that kind of load. AnvilNode was never my first host, I had 3 previous hosts and never found them worth the money for what they provided. I have come to AnvilNode ever since, and you may consider them for a viable hosting option.

Kind Regards,
Blasthappy.
Could you give me specifics on how many were on your server, and which services you purchased from them? Keep in mind that I am not able to afford expensive hosts

Just their shared MC Servers, I've had maybe 30+ players and we've been fine. I got the 4GB Plan. Anything else you need to know?

We offered a free server for the OP to test and make a decision themselves :)

Brazil I suggest attempting to contact your host first. In some cases it's not the host but it's just due to your faulty setup.
