Hello guys! It's FCONTAIFER here, and I am looking for your guys' help! I am in need of a new hosting company as my server has been experiencing some lag. I would like to ask you guys about which server do you think I can get the most bang for my buck! I ask that you please only post on here if you have had real experience with hosts and can truly vouch for them. This is not a post for you to advertise your hosting company of your friend's hosting company. Please, do not waste my time, or even others who may use this thread for advice as well. Please provide an experience along with an advice of which server host to use. Currently I use Fluctis, and pay $4 for 2GB per month. My budget is around $5 per month! Thank you so much for reading and thanks for helping me out!

Hello,

I know you said not to advertise, however would would be happy to set you up with a test server at no cost for you to make a decision on whether or not you would like to purchase a server from us :)
You can find reviews and vouches from our clients here: http://www.mc-market.org/threads/22728/

If you do decide to purchase from us, we can do 2GB RAM for $5/month.

Shoot us a PM if you're interested :)
Vouch for Clovux there support time is AMAZING![DOUBLEPOST=1478632590][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thank you guys for all your input! Thank you for those that did not advertise their own hosting companies! I would be willing to pay a bit more for a host if I can get a guarantee of NO LAG what so ever.

Have you had players on your server, if so, how many at a time? Or is it just you working on the server?

How big is your server? How many people are on it at a time?

Also another question I had is: Does the GB have any impact on the lag, like if you buy more GBs, do you get less lag, or how does that work? Thank you guys!!!
The server isn't currently finished, but we have about 10 staff on at a time.
So, not very big, I also forgot to mention that me and GigabyteHosting are partnered. You can use the code: gigafallout10 for 10% off your first month.
I'm not advertising my OWN company, as I do I have experience.

$1 a gigabyte of ram, with ddos protection? How the hell do you make money?
That's without a dedicated IP, still really good prices. I think I will go with fallout hosting

Are you just assuming its oversold? Or do you know for a fact, and have evidence?

Fallout-Hosting does not oversell at all, each node is kept under the max ram on the machine. We can make money as we own our dedicated machines, a lot of the other hosts on this forum rent machines, we cut overhead by owning them.
Feel free to add my on Skype if you have any questions Skype: ian.d95

Okay, their server is from "Psychz Networks", smallest server has 16GB RAM for $59/mo.
Where do you make $59 from 16GB to sell? Colocation is $70-60.

If i'm selling at $1/GB I need to sell 59GB to break even on my next bill.

Don't be a broke kid. Get a dedi from Ian <3
I'm getting a server from them lmao and I'm not broke I could buy a dedi if I wanted to but I don't see the point as I don't need it.

I just always suggest dedis. I always run into a lot of issues with shared hosting.
I like using dedicated servers because you can install apache, upload websites, ts servers, etc. But I just get a vps for that stuff.
