Hi, my name is James. I have recently have been working on bringing my sever back to life, and I have currently come to a stand still as I don't know where to get the best, affordable hosting for a VPS.

If someone could give me some advice, that would much appreciated :).

Isn't it just an "add on" for $15/month for that? Or did they change that?

Managed Support means we'll do everything required for you to run your services from a VPS, that includes setup, configuration, maintenance, security, etc. You could run your server on a VPS and never see a command line.

All of our services come with a standard level of support that usually suffices for most people.

Thanks you for the explanation, so you honored the install request since the user requested as it was reactive help request and not "full blown" management? Meaning your standard support would not have problems with a few requests "here and there"?

Correct, we'll help with almost any problem or request a customer might have without charging for it. Only when its continual (say more than 2-3 times per week) support do we recommend managed support.

Are you planning on raising the specs on the dedicated servers?[DOUBLEPOST=1451952877,1451952755][/DOUBLEPOST]Also some specification on what ram you use would also be great. I highly suggest adding that to your website.

We'll offer higher end solutions once it's financially viable for us. Until then all our nodes run the same hardware (Dual Intel Xeon X5650s with 144GB DDR3 ECC RAM).

I understand this is older hardware but with the low number of clients per node (under 20), I really doubt you'd notice the difference.

This also allows for our low price point.

All of our VPSs are fully virtualized via Xen-HVM (with PV drivers) for the best performance and protection from overselling. Unlike most other providers who use OpenVZ or KVM (which allow gross overselling), Xen-HVM allocates 100% of the resources as soon as the VPS is booted.

Are you planning to upgrade the ram on your servers soon or? Also, do you offer sponsorships to server networks?

I don't plan on upgrading the RAM per node, 144GB allows for a set number of expected clients per node. We simply add more nodes.

I have a post for sponsorship here: http://www.mc-market.org/threads/60707/
