I think we both know an advertisement is something more than promoting a product or service.

If you are trying to draw attention to a thread without targeting an individual user in the shoutbox, you are advertising. This has always been made clear by staff.
I mean if it’s always been made clear, why did several users plus a staff member not know???

First of all I genuinely laughed at the reaction part. Secondly I’m surprised you got away with 3.4. I got 6x 3.4 warnings lmao. And sometimes they were advertising a discussion thread or a suggestion (which isn’t an advert)

You’re using one definition which has been cherry-picked to support your cause.

Another definition for advertising is:
Code:
An advertisement (or "ad" for short) is anything that draws good attention towards something.

By posting that first message, you are drawing attention to your thread. This is, and has always counted as an advertisement on MC-Market which is why you were kicked for 1 hour as per the escalation procedure.

If you want to legitimately appeal, you can open a support request - not create videos like this.
He picked a definition that works for his case, you picked one for your case. Considering how his definition is the first result when you google for the definition of an ad, I feel like his definition has more "impact" to this case since that is the definition most users will find.

We both know that.

Our rules are very clear, you posted two messages promoting your content on the site within a 20-minute interval and we have been punishing users for doing this since the implementation of our chat.

Like I said in my last message if you want to suggest that we change the wording to something you can understand then create a suggestion if you want to appeal the kick make a support request, even though it's probably ended.

I'm locking this thread again too. Stop attention seeking trying to get staff to respond to your hyperbolic complaints.
