Allow members to sell Minecraft Accounts

I don't have all day to rant about this with other people, but this should really be considered as I see this unfair for members. You literally have over 1000+ people that have premium/supreme just basically ruling the whole site.. with members having nothing special. Let's say if "mcmarket" was a whole server and the donator ranks would be premium and supreme. This server would be pay to win because why? Members get jackshit.. nothing, which I see unfair. The main thing I wanted to talk about is way unfair is selling Minecraft accounts. You should be allowed to sell the main thing that makes you able to play Minecraft, and this is "MC-Market, #1 Minecraft Marketplace" right? So, if it's a Minecraft Marketplace, why can't members sell god damn accounts? This is a suggestion to add it. If you don't want to give this ability to certain members, have these requirements

Im not completely correct but that's my opinion and then to actually contact staff about getting the ability to sell accounts and surpassing all of the requirements, their should be a place for applications like scam reports has its own place.

Consider this, as yet this is a Minecraft Marketplace and you can't even sell accounts as a member.

Paying money shows commitment to the forums. So that random scammers don't go and start selling accounts.

They should let members sell accounts now that MC-market at the start was a open marketplace that everyone could buy / sell. Now you have to donate to sell just to make those users more " trustworthy " which is retarded because everyone that has been here before alot of big users have scammed in the past.

You weren't there before accounts were first removed. I guess you have no idea.
We cannot remove scammers entirely, but we CAN make it a lot harder for them to return after getting banned.

Yeah. You joined in the beginning of the year. As far as I remember, accounts were already removed then.

I've been here almost a year longer...
My relief when I saw accounts removed and knew the amount of scammers on the website would dwindle....
the problem was that the scammers attracted by accounts didnt just scam in accounts. They scammed everywhere.

This is a single section of the market that, in the past, was the source of the overlarge majority of scams on this website. We had 2 scam-resolvers back then, not 1, and there were still multiple pages of scam reports permanently.
To get an idea, go to the appraisals section and imagine that every post there is a scam report.

In general, this place is an open market. However, sometimes exceptions have to be made. If you want to deal in accounts without fulfilling the requirements of this website, you can do it elsewhere. If you do it on this site, you fulfill the requirements or you don't get to sell them. We're not having another scam paradise here.

that's QUITE a task. with the trade feedback system not being used nearly as much as it could be, that'd take even me a year to acquire. The amount of vouches is also quite substantial.
If there is going to be a limit, this is a tad above the threshold.
But mostly cause of the high rep requirement.

The only member I know that has 150+ is HTC

yeah a lot of people seem to. The height of the requirements is what needs to be up for debate here, as well as if it should be done ofc.
Also, HTC probably has that either because he does tons of small deals or asks people to rep him. But without proof there's not much to be done about that.

Well, the decision is always up to staff anyway. Even if it did get a crapload of agrees it wouldn't be guaranteed

No. It's pretty selfish of you honestly to suggest this, if you plan to sell accounts seriously you can afford $10. The idea of this was so that multis/scammers wouldn't waste $10 just to be banned the next day for ban evading.

honestly, I hate how you react to everything mostly. if you don't have any god damn money and sniped some names , you expect to have money appear in your pockets or something? like tf you NEED TO SELL IT to earn money. this is why I'm doing this, how is it selfish? If someone didn't have any money and wanted to sell accounts for money wouldn't that make more sense? I never understand why you trash threads so often..

I do believe this will be implemented to some degree eventually, but it will require careful selecting of criteria.

When we had Minecraft accounts originally, one of the biggest complaints was scamming. So to reduce it as much as possible, we made account verification mandatory and Premium/Supreme along with minimum account age a requirement. So far, it's proven to be a success.

Also, $10 isn't even that much. It's easy to find something you're good at that's fairly simple such as beginner GFX, skins, OG Steam URLs etc. It's more a matter of people not wanting to give back a little to the site that brings them money rather than an issue of "unfairness". You can still post on threads, just not start them. You can still do pretty much anything other than the few features reserved for Premium/Supreme.

So why can't requirements be a option still as a member? We don't want "new members" selling accs..
