Allow resources to have verification methods to protect against leaking

Let people with resources have it to protect them from the gays that leak them!

Either that or clarify rule 6.2.1 to allow the use of verification methods

My resource was leaked and received 100 downloads in under 12 twelve hours. Quite upsetting, as those 100 could have been potential buyers if there was no 'free version' of my resource available to them.

True, however, if you think about it - if they need a setup that is $7.50 which they can't afford, then they can't afford to run a server.

Not necessarily true. They might have the money to buy it, but why buy something when it's available for free?
It's not really about how much money, it's just about their ethics.

i know some servers with a big playerbase that use some leaked setups - plugins, some owners have the money to buy the plugin but they find a free version so they use it

my best friend ran a network for 2 years with a 300+pb and he bought like half of the premium plugins he used and the rest was leaked lol



not saying this is ethical but a lot of people with medium-big playerbase servers do this.

Exactly, it's not a "if they leak, they won't pay" it's just a "why pay when it's free?". But if there are no free versions, then they'll have to resort to, oh my god, paying for it!!

Because of this "but meh" websites like that can thrive. And if you give in and pay you directly support their website! ...they will purchase even more resources and leak them. (if you think about it the more free alternatives there are the less likely is that someone will purchase your product) To pay them is the worse thing you can do...

But there is a little thing everyone can do...PayPal, Cloudflare etc., services doesn't support this kind of business practice and everyone can report it... there might be loopholes but the more reports there are the more of a chance something will change.

We are aiming to implement something like this some time in the next few months, however, it is an incredibly difficult project to develop so we will notify everyone once we do implement something like this.
