Allow us to edit PM's (Read the damn thread, holy shit)

Right now, we can only edit PM's only 1 minute after it was posted, after that, you can't.

I feel like it should be extended to maybe 5 minutes, sometimes I need to edit something and I'm on mobile and by the time I finish typing it with my big thumbs, I can't edit it anymore. Also, sometimes people accidentally type confidential information and notice it only after a minute.
I'm pretty sure I know why its only capped to 1 minute, it's so you can't tamper with possible evidence in a PM that staff can access for scam reports. I don't think extending it to 5 minutes will make any difference. Usually, a scam takes over 5 minutes and people will not freak out if they haven't received anything in 5 minutes lol.
I also really want staff to be able to view the original post because of the time boost whether they are added to the conversation or not.

Although you are able to make a mistake, it is a very high possibility that players may go back to the conversation to edit their post so if they scam there would be no evidence.

No one is reading the actual thread. I think it should be raised to 2-3 minutes and staff being able to see edit logs if they can't already. If you're really superstitious just wait 2 minutes after an important message.

You cant really judge how many people agree or disagree with this post over the amount of people that didnt even bother to read the thread, or when they get corrected and agree they dont change their rating.

I kinda find NinjaArrows point impactful, and Id like for users to also be able to view the original post.

There is really no reason to edit unless if you said the wrong thing or are covering a scam report. Just be more careful

i dont think there should be a limit on time, just incase things go downhill later on, however staff should see all edit logs from past-present.

What do you mean downhill from going on? 3 minutes is plenty of time to fix a typo, remove, or reword something. A person shouldn't be able to edit or remove something they said half an hour ago or even days. There's no good reason to allow people to edit things from that long ago.

I feel like 1 minute is more than enough time to be able to fix a typo, and even if you can't fix a typo in that time is it really the worst thing in the world? It's an incredibly minor problem and I feel like 5 minutes is too long to be able to edit your own conversation messages. It might be slightly inconvenient for you to not be able to edit, but it's way better than scams that could happen.
