You should check out Karhu Anticheat ($15), much better than AngelX and GodsEye in my opinion (No hate).
I offer an up to date NoCheatPlus fork with several custom checks and improvements. It's easily the best selling anti-cheat available as it's affordable while being effective unlike some overpriced options available on here. It can be found in my signature.
NoCheatPlus with MarkElf custom config beats all the anti cheats in the market in terms of movement detection (you need an additional anti cheat for combat).
I have seen lots of misleading comments here.
JI is garbage, false flags a lot for example, whenever you hit a player, it flags killaura. AngelX is also overpriced but false flags unnecessarily. For example, reach falses on legit players. Both anti cheat has a lot of bypasses in the movement aspect. Godeyes is terrible, has movement bypasses and falses but for the combat aspect it is slightly better (still not up to standard tho cuz of false flags).

My friend (anti cheat developer) bought it to test how "good" it is. He told me that JI has full of flaws, unnecessary falses that does not make sense and tons of bypassess. I do not need to buy an anti cheat in order to review it lmao. If you still think that my claims are false, I'd be more than happy to persuade him to make a public test server with latest JI, so that everyone can test how bad JI is.
For combat, NCP would not handle it well at all. You have to get another anti cheat to deal with combat modules.
It can get the job done but additional combat checks do help. Reflex seems okay now (it use to be great, then worse) that I've tried it again but I still have a hard time recommending it at times for just combat.
Not targeted at anyone: I wish people would stop the fighting on these ac recommendation threads and instead use the review sections/PMs to settle claims to limit the number of people reciting other people's experiences. Often telling people X false without proof doesn't help any party.
No reflex is unusable shit anticheat. I'm a customer and I can tell you it 100% does not work what so ever. If you own a factions server, Mark Elf's config will do perfectly fine for movement and combat however it doesn't aim to detect ghost cheats (Becoming more and more relevant). However, for the price his NCP fork/config is stable & is decent detection wise (The only issue I had when I last tested was getting lag backed on slabs/stairs but im sure he's fixed that).

I can also vouch for Karhu. From my experience, the developer is very active and tend to fix issues and falses really quick (Aside from 1.9+ issues).

2.0 is coming in a few weeks and it looks promising so far.
Pd: It's 15 euros, don't expect anything out of the ordinary (Aim checks are okay, again price point), tho it may soon go up in price because 2.0.[DOUBLEPOST=1600936075][/DOUBLEPOST]I also own Reflex as well, but from my experience it's not stable at all, it does detect ghosts but it also detects my arm as well (Short/Mid/Long term statistic and Hitbox prediction)

Vulcan - 15$ - easily the best budget for 1.7-1.16 in my opinion.
Karhu - 15 euros - close second to Vulcan, though it has a few more falses and the checks are not as good, but still great.
Spartan ~25GBP? - Reliable-ish anticheat, but needs some work, combat checks are lacking a lot compared to the top 2.
GodsEye - 20$? - Seems good from the videos I have seen on it, though I haven't tested much.

GodsEye is pretty bad when i tested.
Vulcan is the best option for 1.7-1.12.2 PvP related servers however I would probably use an anticheat like spartan with a decent config for 1.13+
